Rylie Carlin "Bipolar: having or relating to two poles or extremities." Therefore, it can actually mean inconsistent. Bipolar doesn't just have one definition. :-)

You can take bath and makeup products you don't use anymore to women shelters. I'm sure they'd appreciate it.
I've thought about doing that. But will they take partially used products? I have so many I don't use and feel so wasteful throwing them away
+Painfreekitchen I know where I live you can't donate used products to any shelters. I don't know if it's universal.
the shelter in my area requires they throw out products after 1 use, so we try to donate the travel sized ones found in hotels. if you give a big shampoo they would legally have to throw it out after one use. Maybe other towns are different
+Victoria N it is all about being sanitary. someone who is extremely dirty and maybe has illness or something else after touching/opening the bottle can transfer disease. it is all a safety measure.

southernbelleprep Yeah, especially hair products. I have one hair oil that doubles up as heat protectant and serum and hairspray aside from shampoo and conditioner. :)

L'Oreal Paris Extraordinary Oil. It only has 2 functions, as a hair oil and serum. I mean to say that I use that, hairspray, shampoo and conditioner. Hehe..
This was great!...The "neat freak" in me was chomping at the bit, ready to whip out my OWN cleaning supplies to attack my bathroom...The "beauty freak" in me couldn't WAIT to see which products YOU use & which ones you were going to get rid of...Loved it! Definitely do more!

I love these types of videos. They're always more fascinating to me when you film yourself actually going through the products and cleaning and then speed up the clip.

DON'T throw out the Serge Normant conditioner!!! He does Julia Roberts hair, Sarah Jessica Parker, Blake Lively to name a few!! His stuff is GOLD! Or just send it to me, I'm blonde ;) ;)

Yeah it's a seriously good product that would suit your hair a lot Elle : ) similar to the Oribe line. - love the organization videos so much, I always go back and even watch all of your old ones. It had helped me and my husband be better organizers with my clothes and beauty products. There is also something to be said about looking at what you have in your drawers ect, as this is what you have been using. Love to see more!!
Amanda Lyn I thought it was so rude of Elle to say she got sent that product and hadn't even bothered to crack the seal. You don't say stuff like that! It seemed she was ungrateful.
duncandy In her defense she probably gets so much stuff and not that she's not grateful for it I'm sure she just has a hard time keeping up or keeping track of everything. She said she was going to research the product and see if she should keep it or give it away. Hopefully she did look it up, I don't think she checks her comments often so I highly doubt she'll see mine! But I hope she researches it, it's a GREAT Brand and I wouldn't mind if they sent me some free stuff ;) lol
+duncandy These youtubers get A LOT of products sent to them. I think it wouldn't be fair to say she isn't grateful, especially if you forget about a lot of those things. I don't get as many things as youtubers get, but even when I get a goodie bag, I sometimes forget.
I was surprised that you didn't use more organizers/containers to keep your products from looking cluttered in the cabinets and to make it easier to access them. I think if you use clear bins it makes it easier to see what you have in your cabinets and also if you label your bins it will make it easier to keep it organized.
you should look into investing in a lazy susan or 2 for under your sink! that way you can spin it and nothing will get shoved to the back or forgotten about, which for me is the biggest problem and how i start hoarding all the products!

I cleaned up my cabinets under my sink today and only left two cans of shaving cream in it. I had about 20 bottles or more of different things and also organized and delighted my bathroom shelves. 85 percent of things I had are gone. I'm still looking forward to throw away more stuff.

This camera was making the products look weird like kind of warping them. Maybe it was just me but the angles just looked weird especially when you had one product in your hand and would move it around. Just looked strange. Thanks for sharing this de cluttering video Elle! I think I saw someone comment on someone else's video that saw this happen too. They said it was a setting you turn on to make the movements look more life like. I could be wrong though.

Yes, more videos like this! :) You should make a decluttering series, I enjoy these types of videos a lot more than the planner videos to be honest. I don't wanna spend too much time planning, but I love going through my stuff and just keeping what I love.

I LOVE decluttering. Every time I do, all my "new home" products go from my sister, to my mom, then to my friends depending on what's left lol they say it's like Christmas! (Also is a great use for the ipsy bags I don't want to keep)

I hate to be a negative nancy, but I still feel like nothing has changed. After you purged a few items and straighten things out, it still looks really cluttered! having all those products would make me extremely overwhelmed and stressed out. I don't know how you do it Elle, you must be wonder woman!

I loved this clip! I am very very keen to see more decluttering & organising videos as my fiance & I have just purchased our first home so they are really relevant. I find so many of these sorts of videos are aimed at people who are middle aged & have children & not those in their mid twenties like myself.
