I'm 20 years old it's 2021 and I still watch this video over and over because I just love how pretty her vanity is and how organized it is
just an FYI for all the snarky comments... you do realise that makeup is her job, right? of course she'll have a huge collection she must always try new things, not to mention the makeup she gets as promotion gifts. but even if she was just a normal girl with a huge collection, again, so what? whatever makes you happy is important.
WeirdEldy I absolutely hate people bashing hate on youtubers, but I do agree with some of the comments (not the snarky ones) about the amount of makeup. The amount of money put towards this makeup can feed at least 50 starving children throughout the world. Some people are in bankruptcy and struggling to pay hospital bills! Though it's alright to treat yourself and everything, I don't think you need an excessive amount of, say blushes, if you will only use 20% of your collection. It's a huge waste, not to mention the packaging being thrown away. If you have an everyday concealer you use, I say go for it. But other unnecessary products are not needed all the time. I am obsessed with makeup too, I know how fun it is! But we should put different priorities to where the world's money is sent, especially if some palettes are only going to be used three times.

2019 here! Crazy to think that I watched this sooo many years ago - I didn't even know how to wear makeup back then! Think it's wild how so many comments say how this is too much makeup, yet now it seems that every guru these days has triple the amount that Elle had lol
I enjoyed this video very much and I learned a lot. I would never have such a large collection, but I love girls like her, who share there beauty knowledge with others. I find her videos entertain and fun. She also seems like a very nice, sweet person.
I love this makeup collection . I hope young girls realize however that Elle is a professional RUclipsr. A lot of her makeup is sent to her by companies. You shouldn't try to duplicate this using your real money.

No hate, but I just don't understand why people have so much makeup! Just because when you have opened them, the expiration date usually last only a year, and I can only imangine how much people have to throw away. I just see it as a bunch of wasted money. I think people only need a couple of different primers, foundations, highlighters, bronzers, blushes, and eyebrow stuff, because there isn't much colour differences, but nice to have some for different weather and ocations. I can understand having more eyeshadows, lipsticks and glosses, but 100 different pink shades is for me just ridiculous! And do you really need 40 different powderbrushes? It's crazy...

Its what she wants to do with her life. Why did you even watch the video? Like god no life huh? Wow. Obviously she has the money for that and (just like you would) she spends it on what she wants/needs and if that is make up then I'm with her. Her life her choice.

I used to watch your videos in 5th and 6th grade, learning everything I could. I would watch this collection video over and over, taking notes and inspiration. Now I am 23 and I still love makeup, but I have to admit, I learned my techniques back then and haven’t really branched out since then… if it works it works.
We need an updated makeup collection! Especially since you've moved again!
This was such a different time omg, the makeup sets here are normal, regular brands, now a lot of influencers are normalizing designer luxury make up, it feels weird!

This is an impressive (and maybe a bit expensive..?) utilization of storage space. All in all, you've done a massively great job!
I don't even have a large makeup collection, I am old and lazy - but for some reason when I want to live vicariously, I will always come back to this video.....hehehe
a lot of makeup gets expired and a lot of gurus don't remember that, hence enlarging their "collections" when really a lot of makeup goes to waste
plus expired makeup is really bad for you
BUT I do think it would be interesting to watch a video of a guru "spring cleaning" and getting rid of expired makeup

lemonadethirsty I just find it a bit obsessive..Nothing against Elle..my friend is the same way. I mean I see identical colors of blush, eye shadows, lip products..etc. my friend could literally open a freaking Bath and Body works store with all the duplicate lotions, body sprays, candles, hand soaps, hand creams, etc..I mean a TON!!!!!!!! & the crazy woman NEVER uses any of it!! It just sits there every time I go to her house, it has not moved!!! I can't lol I think about it, it's insane! js
And here I am sitting witht wo 3 bottles of nailpolish, old mascara and 2 lipsticks! :P
