      Excellent Video! Excuse me for chiming in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you thought about - Franaar Wonderful Face Formula (should be on google have a look)? It is a smashing exclusive product for getting rid of keratosis pilaris without the hard work. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my BF after a lifetime of fighting got amazing results with it.

It is a great exclusive guide for getting rid Keratosis Pilaris naturally without the hard work. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my mate finally got great success with it.

    for anyone using bar soaps for their body and or face, make sure to cut it up into usable pieces to use in the moment. this help bacteria from getting on as much as possible and help you keep it dry and clean bc you don’t really use ALL of the bar when cleaning

    Can you do a video on how to be more eco-friendly with skin care? like ingredients to avoid, what certain labels mean, examples of brands etc?

    • @jillianm5781
      @jillianm5781 5 лет назад +9

      Antonella Campos Palm oils are probably by far the biggest contribution to environmental damage to our forests and natural habitats of endangered animals, especially orangutans, as many big companies have entire farmlands reserved for the palm plants to harvest. Palm oil also isn’t really very good for you, it’s just a cheap ingredient that everyone can afford.

    • @jillianm5781
      @jillianm5781 5 лет назад +2

      And I have personally seen a few skin care products include palm oil in their ingredients list... it makes me very, very sad to see it. I just think of the baby orangutans from Leonardo DiCaprio’s documentary on the environment + climate change, Before the Flood.

      Here's a great keratosis pilaris treatment - MootKen.xyz
      Seriously this condition is terrible. Not only do I have Molluscum Contagiosum, which is definitely a great “boost of confidence”
      But I have had KP my whole life and it just gets worse, I have KP on the back of my biceps, thighs and my whole lower leg! KP keeps me from wearing T-Shirts and anything that shows above my knees. It is getting really hot and I don't have the confidence to wear shorts or T-Shirts. Not to mention that I have really skinny “chicken” legs and they are veiny too. I am so blessed and thankful that I am healthy, but I would like to feel confident in my body too. I am not sure what to do, (not comparing but) there are so many girls at school with beautiful skin, but I can’t do ANYTHING about the skin conditions I have
      (which I have only started to really notice get worse the past few month

      @@jameswalters8155 I'm sorry you've had to deal with this. My youngest daughter started to show signs of something that's exactly what is explained in this video at age 3mo & she's 6yo now. It's odd, because we have a high amount of melatonin in our genes. Thanks for sharing this link, however, I'm not interested in an infomercial or a MMA for a treatment that basically explains what products to buy at the drugstore for under $15. I guess I'll just have to do my own research, but thanks anyways.

    Watch Dr Dray's video on dry body skin. My 39 years of handling dry flaky body skin finally ended when I followed her methods and product recommendations. However, as I live in a tropical country, I have to bathe everyday with body wash, so I do tweak my washing habits according to my environment.
    Here's how I do it.
    1. St Ives Oatmeal & Shea Butter body wash or Eucerin ph5 skin protection shower oil for dry skin with Dexpanthenol.
    2. Wash with bodyshop gloves. I find that not using any exfoliating gloves slows down my dry skin renewal... So regardless of Dr Dray's advice, I still exfoliate (gently).
    3. And finally, when your skin is still wet, apply body cream. I currently use Curel Hydra therapy wet skin moisturizer. Your skin must be wet, not just damp. If you already have a cream you use, apply it when skin is wet. It can be uncomfortable, so after applying, just dabbed skin to dry off abit, but don't rub. I find this wet skin method is the life changer for me.
    In dry weather, recently I went to Japan, I use this wet skin method every day and instead of just moisturising after my shower, I also moisturise in the morning before going out, and my body is free of dry skin! I have never had such smooth skin in my life. My legs would crack after a week in a cold country, but on this trip, I was there for 2 weeks and my legs are hydrated! And my body doesn't itch from dryness.
    I used to splurge on Loccitane Shae butter and had to apply alot of it, but will suffer dry skin after a week or so in cold weather, now I manage it much better.
    Dry skin people, really try the wet skin method. I wish more people know about this.

    With my bumpy skin on my upper arms I exfoliate them with a really coarse body scrub every time I shower then moisturize after and I have noticed a HUGE difference. My favorite scrubs are by zeep bath and I just use aveeno 24 hour moisture for the lotion.

    We used Dove growing up too. I’ve also recently tried, 9 wishes wash & body lotion. Also Pyungkang Yul has a body bar & lotion that are both are unscented that are very good to use. Other bath gel I’ve used is the one by Philosophy- Purity Made Simple Body. I’m 59 soon & have dry skin that gets Eczema on my legs. Glossier makes a bar called Body Hero for bumps on arms etc.

    Thank you for this!!! I have a 6yo who's apparently had the skin condition KP since she was about 3mo, I never knew what it was or how to treat it until now. Pediatrician after pediatrician always said it's nothing, don't worry about it, but never gave me a name for it. I have a few tips & tricks now, plus a name! Thank you very much!!!!

  • @halfofmyheart3167

    Paula's Choice BHA and AHA body lotion works great to get rid of KP (not permanently ofcourse). If you keep up with the products suggested in this video and the PC products I mentioned, your KP will stand no chance lol. I also use an all natural cucumber salt scrub from Amazon and that really helps in exfoliation, reducing inflammation, and moisturizing the skin. If I shave I will use Cerave, La-Roch Posay, a Paula's Choice omega moisturizer, then on days I don't shave I use the Paula's Choice BHA or AHS lotion. It took me 2 years to master my technique forgetting rid of KP, but with what I said above and a few other products I use, as well as products I use while shaving and after had helped so much💜 great video ⭐💛

    Thank you!!! Definitely appreciate a video that is about more than just face acne. Could you go into even more depth into body acne, like super sensitive legs? I've been told it's just KP but my legs seem to breakout more like acne. Also my skin gets super sensitive to shaving, (razor bumps/burns), and I always seem to end shaving with lots of skin irritated and raised rather than smooth and I'm not sure what to do about it? Will exfoliants do more harm or good?
