I am also an instant shutter fix believer. I was extremely close to probably replacing a transmission in my 2014 Ford Explorer. I found this product on RUclips. I bought it and tried it and almost instantly it fix the shutter and I can’t fathom that a professional mechanic Would not have told me about this product rather than hose me and charge me $5000 for transmission. I am probably one month since adding this product to my car and I keep expecting the problem to come back. One of those too good to be true moments!
Problem with mechanics is that they could easily use this product in someone’s vehicle and charge them for a $5000.00 replacement. Know your mechanic and always mark your existing part in an inconspicuous place. Shudder fix is too good to be true. It certainly solved my problem.
So if you understand what it is and how it works that will explain to you how it works so quickly. Essentially there is a film that builds up on the plates of the torque converter, and that causes them to slip and thus the "shudder". So this stuff chemically breaks the bonds of that film down so it no longer slips. Since it's a chemical reaction, it's really quick, you basically just gotta mix it in there good.
My avalon only vibes when I accelerate low speed 35 up I get the vibration or shaking .wanna try it..gonna use 2 tubes... I replaced my tranni fluid at 238 000 miles don't kno if that's wat caused it..
@@rayonwilliamssportsandfun2106 I've heard stories about people flushing or changing their transmission fluid, only to have it cause problems that didn't exist beforehand. Frankly, I will never change nor flush a transmission ever again.
I really think it's all about when you catch it. The shudder has started to return twice, but after adding more Instant Shudder Fixx, it drives like new again. I'm 800 miles away from the 60,000-mile mark (of driving with ISF) and it will be 2 years since adding this October!
Liked your review. From what I have read, all Asian vehicle brands also develope shudder. If Instant Shudder Fixx corrected your concern, then your vehicle probably had varnish deposits inside of the torque converter. I will try this product myself.
After watching your video I pumped out 14 quarts of fluid by pumping the transmission fluid out through the dipstick tube 2-3 qts at a time and added three tubes of shudder fix and a bottle of lube gard platinum and it seems like a new transmission. No shudder and shifting perfect.
I had to buy some for my 535i, I replaced the transmission filter and oil. Had slipping occurring due to the loss of helpful particles in old fluid, came across this shudder fix at advanced auto, popped this bottle in and instantly had good results!! This product definitely came in Clutch!! No More Slipping Tranny👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Is it still running fine? I'm not sure what to do my 328i (e92) with 290k miles has been shuddering for the past month and I have never replaced the transmission fluid like ever. I don't know if I should now, when it shifts to higher gears like 3 and 4 it shudders (the entire car shakes) after a few seconds it goes into gear fine and everything works smooth afterwards.🤔🤔
@@Natalie-vv9jl Hey Natalie, I would definitely change the Tranny fluid and filter!! They say it’s lifetime fluid but it’s not!! Adding shudder fix to old burnt fluid isn’t going to work.
*This video is a great review update on the product. All it is, is an anti-friction additive. It is science. But not witchcraft. LoL!* *As a mechanic of over 40 years, I can hands-down say, there is nothing wrong with Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep (and dissolved manufacturers under the umbrella) when comparing to any other vehicle brand. I have had so many Fords. Their greatest engines are the 3.0 V6 Vulkan (reliability and fuel economy), the 4.6 V8 Modular, 5.0 (any gen incl. the Coyote). All fanstastic engines. Their 3.8 Essex is trash. Their Zetec is not great. Their Duratecs are great. Duratec was engineered by Porsche.* *But I have owned a Plymouth Neon Expresso 2 door, 5 speed manual. 2.0 DOHC i4, a 2.5 Turbo i4 Plymouth Voyageur, a 3.0 V6 Chrysler Town & Country and a 3.3 V6 Dodge Grand Caravan. Like the Eagle Vision (Chrysler Intrepid).* *As a mechanic, I have rebuilt loads of vehicles under every brand. It shouldn't blow your mind really. That little 2 oz container is basically nothing but friction modifier. It turns your fluid basically into a very aggressive form that makes your torque converter work again.
Their engines are amazing. The MZ-FE, GR-FE, JZ, S-i/Fi/Fc , FZ, etc. All these engines are *PHENOMENAL*. I have rebuilt a lot of these engines. Not because they needed it. But because the customer loved their Toyota and wanted it renewed. ❤️

I have a mustang that has a shutter around 45 mph on a slight incline in 3rd gear just before it shifts into OD.. I did a complete flush of the trans fluid, dropped the pan replaced the filter, and added two of the little packs of Instant Shudder Fixx. The shift points did improve and the shudder isn't as noticeable.. every now and then it still happens.. My money is on the torque converter.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge, expertise and experience on this subject! As shown in later videos, I ultimately ended up dropping the pan on my transmission twice and replacing the fluid and filter both times. I'm no longer using instant shudder fixx or any other additives and so far, things have been pretty good. I must give credit to ISF for buying me time to figure out what the issue was with my transmission without having to replace or even repair it. Every once in a while, the torque converter will make a noise, so you are correct to put your money on that being the issue. Moving forward, I will be changing the transmission fluid & filter every 30,000 miles.
