Love the shower! I've never seen a shower use a recirculation water system before and don't know why. That makes such wonderful sense in a van/bus life situation.
There is another channel, Tiny Watts Solar, who designed a wonderful recirculating shower that filters the water and uses UV lights to sanitize the water. Very cool.
This was delightful to watch & listen to. What a lovely couple…well spoken and clearly filled with good ideas that they acted on when they made the decision to change their lifestyle. Wish them the best in their journey…. May the Bluebird of Happiness… fly along with you, always…
What a super bus inside and out!! Very intentional in the planning and it's shows. Lovely finish, such a comfortable, functional looking space. Enjoy your adventures guys, make all the best memories! 😊
Your bus looks like a home you can be happy in. You will never regret what you are doing now no matter where you go from here. My wife and I are 79 now and were just like you when we were 27. It can work.
This is the coolest home on wheels, ever. Thanks for showing us around, and you gave me an idea for my kitchen table area. Have fun on the go. You guys are great.
Lovely couple, very well thought out and nice build! Love the colors, library, the long kitchen countertop, and the recycling shower, such a water saver! I think I've only seen one other build with a recycling shower. I did however see a tour of a build with a small indoor hot tub that recycled the water. Enjoyable tour, thanks!
I cannot believe this was a shuttle bus. It looks so roomy. Nice kitchen. Love the stove. Want one! The bendable shower curtain rack is new to me. Hospitals - Of course! Love that! Yeah - Bed frames have a lot of use, don't they. Beautiful doors, especially at the bedroom: practical and sharing with nature. You did an amazing job in such a small space where you are "forced" to work through things and "adventuring" through and "exploring" life! Thank you for sharing with us.
You've got some good innovation going on there. I like the type of bus that you're using. I was amused by your anxiety about turning 30. In the 29 years since I turned 30, I've done more than most people will do in a lifetime or two. To the tune of 48 states and 60 countries. Along with all the other things that I was doing there. Realistically, life begins at 31. Good luck with your adventures and perhaps we'll see each other out there somewhere.
Love the video. Heavily relate to everything they said about their quarter life crisis. I had mine at 25. House burned down, lost my dad, generally unsatisfied with my life and society. I'm 27 now and make good money. Good union job. Rendering plant, great job security. Anything to get on the road. My rig is halfway there and I have an understanding of what my life is supposed to be. Don't wait. Get on the road.
What a great couple you are!!! Thank you for sharing this video ~ you have made a beautiful home together. Your view of "working it out" is such a wise one! Sending you light, love, peace, joy and abundance always. I love you.
So many creative and practical ideas! This is the best tiny home on wheels I've seen. I especially like the kitchen. I wish you much success and happiness in your life adventures. ❤❤❤👍
I love the bus, and it's given me a lot to think about when I finally construct my own, but the beats in the background make it really difficult to focus on what the interviewees are saying. I'm not sure if that was from the campsite or an editing mistake or something, but that's worth looking out for in future videos. Maybe ask people with music too loud to turn it down 50% just while you're doing the tour? I imagine the tour is 20 to 30 minutes of shooting time, so it's not a huge ask, and you may end up meeting someone that also wants to be featured on your channel. Just food for thought; great work as always, THT :3
Love the bus, but I'm really in love with your shower!! The entire shower curtain, the recirculating water and the filters for it!! Question - do you think a blackout curtain (that you could make) for behind the fridge would help to keep it cool? Also, 3 generations making the couch covers is amazing! Love the storage and curtains, too! Such a cute couple. Tfs.
I love your home! i love your great little ideas creative and practical! if you sold I could just move in with the decor! love the blue and white. I love the layout and rooms it really is like a little apartment. I like the separate bedroom and lounge / diner area. I love the curtains instead of doors for colour and save on weight.. this is in my top 10 of all time! I like the window in the shower and bathroom too!
Just like with magnets, opposites attract. In our 70s we aren't as opposite as we once were as we both like solitude more. The first build doesn't have to be the last build, and probably won't be. And nothing like small cabinets have to be permanent, build new ones, or check Ikea.
You guys shoulda went with the queen size bed. Ty for all of the points, i love ur shower thats what i want, i love that thing u invested in to keep the bed up goooooooood job beautiful people
I actually suspend that shower curtain track from the ceiling of my cabin tent to have an ensuite toilet in one corner. It's very light weight. You reach a certain age where you're just weeing all night! 😅
Name it ❤ Adventure ❤ Love your Bus set-up an colour choices... Have to say you are the Cutest Couple Thank you for Sharing. Wondering how much you paid jus for the Bus an what's the engine.
Love it. I would be a lil scared about the bacteria. Do you add some extra bleach to the water to keep it safe? Be scared of maybe Legionella with the changing water temps?
What about creating a family? Is that no longer in the plans for young folks? This anxiety about turning 30 and the comment about running away from responsibilities is such a common theme amongst young people today is frankly scary for the fate of the future. Other than that, nice build, great idea to see the Country.c
Check out ogoo toilet. Love the recycling shower unit. Never seen that before. Took note on the piping too. ✔. One question, what's your gas mileage at? For some reason I'm thinking you get better then in a RV.
@@drivethru1835 I’ve seen that movie ( loved it) however that poor guy’s story didn’t end well lol. At 60 years of age I’m not willing to sacrifice all comforts. I also own a trailer that I have up at my Brothers farm. So in the summer I do get to get away a fair amount. All the best!!!
Lovely bus But that rice knife sharpener isn’t real….. sorry ! I know some website claims it is but it’s not possible for something as weak as a grain of rice to sharpen a solid steel knife It sounds like it could be true though Rice gets a lot more credit than it deserves now that I think about it It’s my favorite thing in the world but just be careful before you convince yourself rice is also a smoke detector
its ok to travel and do alot of other things in life but when you finally get back to reality that you're not going to be young forever so you also have to think about saving for your retirement years
Not having money isn’t an excuse it’s a reality for a lot of people. Buses aren’t free you have to pay for them so enlighten me on where you can find one for free. Don’t worry I’ll wait for the answer.
Um...turning 30 is not a quarter life. You'd be lucky to have 20 be your quarter life lol. Not having money is not an EXCUSE it is a fact that most people can't get around. How condescending.
@@xi7892 only once you buy the vehicle then build it out and these days with the cost of fuel...not really. It's breaking even not frugal. Most people don't have 10s of thousands of dollars laying around to spend on purchase and build out.
