Hi Lea!! Congratulations on getting the yss shocks!! Regarding the forks, i believe that a company will eventually make a cartridge that can be installed into the forks, if not, replacing the springs and weight of the oil will yield limited positive results. I'm hoping that Ohlins will step up and make shocks and cartridges for the rebel. Based on my experience with them, i trust their products. In all honesty, i am still on the fence about a suspension upgrade - they run on the expensive side, so not sure if the benefit will outweigh the cost for me personally, I am however eager to get some sort of steering stabilizer for the rebel....
@@ontherebel11 Hi, thanks for the information. For the front forks have you heard of a company called GEARS? They have front forks specific for the 1100, $799, made in Taiwan just like YSS. As for ohlins that would be nice, but when I have called to ask them about the rebel a few times they said they don't have plans to make anything for the 1100 any time soon. I think there isn't enough of 1100s around, plus most people are not going to spend several thousand on suspension for a $10k bike. I'm spending money since I'm a small women and I have to customize anything I buy😎
Hi , need your help. I just bought the Corbin solo seat(your recomandation :) ) for my 2021 Rebel 1100 dct and i could not fit it. can you send me please a video or instructions how to fit it ? maybe I'm doing something wrong or the seat is the wrong one. in the original Honda one there are pins and laches to fit it and in the Corbin I got there are missing.
