Matthew Slater is a all around class act. He walks his talk every day. Thanks for having him on CL

I truly believe that Slater should be in the HOF! No one can say that there was a better Special Teamer than him! I’m an Eagles fan and what Slater has done in his career was amazing! Congrats on the great career and have an amazing retirement!

Slater, Jules, and Chris are three of my favorite people in all of sports that I've found through podcasting. I always liked Edelman for the way he played, but they all have such cool personalities off the field and are naturals at interviews.

As a Patriots fan who has watched Slat since his rookie year, he has always been my favorite. One of the best players, men, fathers, and leaders I have ever seen. I’m so glad I got to grow up seeing that type of leadership in professional sports and having someone to look up to like him.

Chris, you're a pro, and I'm not talking football. This was one of the most enjoyable interviews I've ever heard. Fantastic host, great questions, and a genuinely authentic guest. Thanks, man!

As an old life long Patriots fan, Matthew is always going to be one of my all time favorites. That young man is class personified. He will be sorely missed. However, he will always be a cherished member of the Patriots family and the entire New England fan base. He truly is his father's son. Jackie's greatness and persona goes without saying. Thank you for everything you are, Matthew. The best of the Good Lord's blessings in your retirement.

I’m not sure if you’ve ever addressed this before or if it’s something you’re even interested in Chris but I would be very interested in seeing you do film breakdown on the top d line/edge prospects coming out of the draft. You’re clearly very knowledgeable in the subject and I’d love to hear your tape breakdown of Verse, Latu or Turner

The unfortunate thing about all these rule changes on kickoffs is that the onside kick used to be something that always kept teams and fans in the game.
