      100% they have the same voice. Under 5 years this dude will either win a championship go back to nfl and be a top d coordinator or head coach.

    What a great interview. Never heard him speak and did not know much about him, but I had to listen. Great personality and sense of humor. he is going to do a great job at UW.

    Wow, I completely unfairly judged him for years while he was here in New England, but it seems like he’s a smart, funny guy. I wish him the greatest success at UW.

    Absolutely, there comes a time when you have to turn the page or close the book. This phase will be a great thing for all the Belichick’s and fans. Looking back will be a great story. For many, getting to know the different side of a Bill and Steve has been a great gift.

    Pats Defense last year was nasty. If the offense averaged 17 pts they would have made the playoffs lol

      I remember talking to a football fan about this because he kept saying, 'Patriots suck, Bill is over the hill...' Meanwhile, I pointed out how the team allowed just 46 points in four games and went 0-4 during that span. I think too many were hoping for the demise and ignored the obvious facts.

    Pete Carroll & Belichicks working together at UW.. The best of both worlds. Two of the COOLEST hirings in college football. I wish them all the best and Cant wait to see what UW can do with them

    Chris....loved you as a player and enjoyed you going to the Pats. Patriot fan since '65, saw them play at Fenway and other locations before the 1st Foxboro building.
    Your podcast is one of my favs and enjoy your insight as a former player and your honesty on what you experienced.

    It's telling that Steve is the coach of a legend but his reputation amongst his peers, former players is nothing but positive. That's the sign of a man who put the work in, never said, 'do you know who my Dad is!'

    Great point, he is the only coach from the belichick tree. That will not try to be bill, a son who wants to be his own. It who will have all the knowledge from his father, but make it his own.

    As horrific as the pats offense has been that defense had that dawg in em kept us in most games. I was hoping he would stay with the pats as dc 😭 since I don't have a college team to root for go huskies!

      @@smarroy last year's defense was statistically not very good, but they were good when they needed to be. History has shown time and time again that offense can win games, but defense wins championships. The Huskies need to go back to having a consistently good defense.

      @@udubdave I wasn’t scoffing at the idea that we need a good defense, I just got tired this year of seeing people on Twitter/Reddit/message boards acting like we should fire Inge and Morrill mid season or something, because I agree with you that even if the numbers weren’t great they performed when they needed to
