This video is to help you through the process of changing or replacing your elect Tronic throttlebody most newer cars have an electron a throttlebody this applies to the avenger I believe Chrysler 300s etc. you just need to find out where the electronica throttlebody is located underneath the hood. Now if you’re driving down the street one day in your Chrysler 200 and all of a sudden your car loses power you can accelerate and you have a lightning bolt a.k.a. the electronica throttle body symbol on your dash along with your stability track light and maybe your check engine light comes on it could be one it could be two or it could be all 39 times out of 10 your problem is that your electronica throttle body has a short in it you have to replace it if it happens to you turn your car off turn it back on immediately Pull over and do that. Now if your car continues to run after this you don’t have much time to get it fixed you may think oh it went away but it did not it will happen somewhere down the line within a month or two if you’re lucky to afford to take that long and this video is the solution to that thank you if I help you leave a comment subscribe to my channel I will be having more content on here very soon thank you be safe!

Thank God I found someone working on the same car I have !! So glad I found this video. The symptoms come and go. The Limp mode mentioned in the video is what throws people off because of all of the "it could be this" (sensors) that cause the car to go into Limp mode. Pay attention to this video he knows what he's talking about it being the Throttle body. 👍💯

That sounds you were hearing in your video... That clicking sound that you said you haven't figured out what it is yet. It may be the "actuator" its what controls your air flow vents. There are either 2 or 3 of them. I have a 2014 Chrysler 200 and it did the same thing. I went to the junk yard and got one for a couple bucks. Not a difficult task (so long as one has patience). I am not that one. Ha. Maybe that info might help anyone with that clicking sound coming from the dash. God bless.

If you still have this car, that noise is actually the blend door actuator, probably on the passenger side. It is part of a recall, so the dealership will change it for free. I just took mine out because it was running down the battery by ticking at random times with the car off. After i got it out, i saw that it had cheap plastic gears and posts inside and the main gear post had broken off, so the car just kept trying to make it spin. The only negative to taking it out completely is that it doesn't switch between cool and hot on the ac without you manually turning on the air conditioner.

@@369Wapo_Reacts2 Feel your pain man. My electronic throttle control is on, check engine light is on. I've taken it in to my mechanic and he said he couldn't find anything wrong with it. I was happy with that but then both lights starting going on again, now periodically the traction control. It's maddening.
@@369Wapo_Reacts2 was you getting random stalling. That's what mines been doing. And did you calibrate the new one there's a video on here how to calibrate it.
You have to turn the key to on position wait for lightning bolt to go away, then slowly press the gas pedal then slowly release but turn it off then start it right afterwards then it's calibrated

I have a Chrysler 200 2013. It was overheating. I got a new head gasket and 2 new thermostat replaced, and the first day picking it up the red electric light came on and I'm in limp mode. Im hoping your video will help me.

That noise is a blend door actuator. There are 3 in the car.
Same problem with my 200 waiting for my new throttle to install i have a question bruh any particular reason why this is happen it’s so sudden it’s just about week they just cleaned my car because of the water stuck in dreainage of my car sunroof.. after they cleaned it the next day the lightning bolt and traction control appear in my dashboard
My 2012 charger has the same issue the bolt light come on temperature gauge goes down to cold I replaced the throttle body the thermostat and the light still came back on doing same thing I have not been able to find anything else on how to fix it

What symptoms was your car having. My 2015 Chrysler 200 struggles to turn on and goes into limp mode. Traction light turns on and won't accelerate past 32mph
Most likely your throttle body needs to be replaced or cleaned like this. Unplug your battery or at least disconnect the bolt off the negative terminal for a couple of hours and see if it’s still acts like that and try to get the codes from a auto parts store

Can these symptoms mimic a bad fuel pump or bad relay?
My car keeps losing power while driving. All of these things have been replaced. Problem still exists. No check engine but throttle light blinks briefly after I try to crank the car back up after it stops

I believe it was the fan actuator. Or hvac actuator.
Idk the exact name for it
There’s 4 actuators total. One of them could have a gear broken or just be going out.
