This saved my car! I have a 2015 Chrysler 200 that hasn't moved since March 2023 due to a bad battery dying in a ice storm and when I put the new battery in my car it was stuck in neutral and wouldn't move, I researched it and found out this was due to the TCM proxy being out of config. all the garages/dealers around here suck and will rip you off left and right so I try to fix what i can on my cars at home. I haven't had the time to deal with it so I've just been driving my Jeep but then I stumbled across your video, bought the Thinkdiag for $89, spent 30 minutes using it and now my Chrysler is up and running again! I can't thank you enough for the video! the dealer had quoted me $400 to do it so you def saved me some money! thank you again!
glad i could help theres not a lot of info on how to do this online and everyone says u cant do it lol but its very easy and this scanner is extremely good it can reprogram some keys ect well glad it worked out thanks

This worked great, thank you so much for the tip. Now I just have to figure out what keeps draining my battery. I kept jumping it, which I think is what lead to the proxy alignment issue. Battery and alternator both testing as good, there's something draining it that I cannot track down. But thanks again!

My head unit(screen) is keeps prompting to update and when I do and restart the car, it prompts me to do it again. And odometer flashes, can’t charge my phone via usb and the lights on the button on head unit are all out. The buttons do work tho, just no lights. Thanks in Advance !

Hello, I have a Chrysler 200 2015 limited 2.4l.
The mileage flashes and the transmission slams into first and reverse. My mechanic erased the codes he threw, but he doesn't stop hitting and flashing the dashboard.

unplug the battery for at least 30 minutes then try again or if the voltage is too low charge the battery
My 2015 Chrysler 200, we replaced the alternator, would that require a proxi alignment? The battery light flahes, power steering says its lost communication and the odometer flashes.
Yes the odometer flashing is your computer needing a recalibration, proxi alignment is the usual fix
I have an 8 inch stereo from the factory, I bought an OEM camera but it is not active, do you know if it is the next configuration?

Yes, I ordered and ran the program. It’s telling me the radio is not configured or a mismatch. Ended up not communicating with radio so it didn’t work
will this fix the problem with the heat and air that stopped working when my stereo went black? i replaced my stereo but i dont think they aligned it grr

I bought the newer device that you recommended and doesn’t have the proxi alignment option for my fiat 500x
It just doesn’t have the option under special functions

For the fiat its under the transmission control module
It wasn’t, it was under BCM, just needed to use an android device not an apple

Hey bro i have a 2013 dodge dart with the 2.0 and my rpm when im driving wont go pass 4000 rpm even the pedal all the way down then i notice my mileage was blinking but then it stop and start again so could this be the problem
Let me check real quick if the 2.0 also has the proxy
So yes it is a big possibility it needs a proxy alignment
I'm get the tool you recommended and try and see if this can fix my acceleration problems cause it's not giving any codes under the check engine like but oil pressure sensor so I think your video kinda help me

Yes
That usually means u need to proxy aling your transmission
So what option would I select BCM or TCM ?
