honestly one of the most emotional moments of my life. just the feeling of being there during this, i cant explain it... the cold chills i felt..i think everyone felt pain during this
I've loved A7X for a while now and being there in that crowd and honoring the Rev like that was a once in a lifetime experience. I couldn't help but cry.
I can't believe someone would dislike this. This was a beautiful tribute to a lost band member. Jerk. P.S. I saw this live and it was 10x more incredible in person!
The only way to dislike this is if you're mad you weren't able to attend. Their set was emotional from the start, but amazing above all. Can't wait to see them again in July :)
I cried during this. I didn't have a lighter so I held up a phone. Once I seen how many people were holding up lighters I started balling my eyes out. I miss the Rev.
I had seen them play this song before, but when I was here... It's hard to explain, but it was amazing. The energy in the place was so emotional, it's like every single person there was there for A7X and were so into it. Their performance was so heartfelt. Turning around and seeing the entire stadium light up... Phenomenal. I about cried like a little bitch
"I want to see all those lighters & cellphones rise high up in the sky, so at this point the rev knows we are celebrating his life down at rock on the range with all you beautiful people"
Hey I can see myself in this one!!! Anyways, this was a beautiful performance. It was just amazing to stand there holding a lighter while they performed, and everyone was teary eyed around me and it was just depressing. But this song is a great memorial song, and was a beautifully sad performance by the band. foREVer
@ProdigyChild2014 i saw A7X live on The Revs last tour in 2008 at the Taste of Chaos, i was part of his family, i dates his cousin, and i got A7X tattooed on my back in Memory of James The Rev Sullivan.
I love this song and this was an amazing performance. But I made the mistake of trying to record these guys while in the 3rd row.... omg i thought that i was going to die!!!!
fuck it guys, ill admit it here, i just about cried during this at the show, it was so touching and was just amazing. my girlfriend was just about bawling. what an amazing performance a7x! the rev will b missed and loved foREVer
@OurNewAvenue the lights? i got a quick video of it. it was one of those sites that i will personally never forget, looking behind me and seeing it all lit up. incredible
@SuperCockism Actually he's been singing all along as back up of course, but I rarely hear him doing a vocal vibrato which he did at the interval mentioned. :D
Honestly. It was a misclick on listening to So Far Away. And i know its not just fucking me but i cried my ass off when i listened to this. Thumbs up if you think Avenged Sevenfold can get through the loss.
I was wearing a A7X shirt and some dude came up to me and gave me a wristband. It says Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan foREVer Anyone else get one of these? I swear my stepbro and I were the only ones wearing them.
when they played it at uproar 2010 everyone had lighters and phones out singing and crying my friend went to go into a make out session with her ex I didnt allow it. It just seemed wrong I mean specially during such a meaningful song
Shadows blew his voice out a couple days before this and his voice seems a little off in this... It could just be the location and having to perform So Far Away, but I just hope it's not cause of blowing his voice out because his voice was in its prime since Uproar.
