I have to ask, has Baalor played Across the Obelisk at any point?
Sounds like something he might've explored, and I'd like to see his take on a game I rather liked.

He has tried it, said that the game was a little too focused on building stacks of things but that the co op of element was cool. Don't think he really cared for it but he didn't hate it either.

I feel like this would have been brought up by others, but is anyone else hearing poor audio quality, in various spots throughout the Plays channel videos? I though it might just be a monster train thing, since that's most of what I've been watching here, but I noticed it almost immediately in this vid too, a couple bursts of crunchy audio at 0:10 - 0:15. If anything could be done to lower the frequency of these issues it would make the listening experience much better, or alternatively, just knowing that I'm the only one hearing these things.

Is this an old run of SnD or has he started playing it again? I have a memory of him saying he didn’t enjoy the game.

This is a run from sometime this winter. Some of these VOD's are about 6 months old. He has played quite a few games of slice and dice, so perhaps you are misremembering what he said or the context in which he said it. He might not like it as much as slay the spire or monster train, but it's one of his more frequently recurring games and he seems to have enjoyed it every time I see him playing it.
