Your video is clearly perfect ! Chill vibe (not like those you speak agressivly or anything) and very well explained. Currently on the Huntsman Elite (Purple Switches), i'm thinking of buying the Huntsman V2 with red's it seems wonderful. Keep on the good work :) (Sorry if i made some mistakes, i'm from France)
I didn't realize they made a regular Huntsman V2 until very recently. I'm extremely confused by the differences between them. The V2 Analog implies it's the same keyboard but with the analog key functions, when in reality, it also has USB passthrough and a backlit wrist rest, but the regular V2 has much lower latency and 8000hz polling rate.
Just a question about the Razer Hunstman V2 version - Does it have usb type A output at the end of the cable or only usb Type C? ( I am asking about the v2 only i am aware of the v2 analog) thank you.
Man that's just sad, why is there no all around RGB on the normal V2... I have the Elite and I just love the RGB around the whole keyboard. For something so expensive they could've at least stuck the RGB on it just like on the Elite...
I spend most of my day coding (software engineer) and I play FPS games at night (of course I don't care about the analog movement for game), do you recommend the analog or the liner? can I disable the analog in games with keeping best experience for typing?
@@nospacoco2195 thank you for saying that! I'm a software engineer and I'm looking for a replacement for my Blackwidow Elite :) It's nice to know that another engineer has tested it!
I've had quite a few problems with my Huntsman V2 Analog over the years I've had it. I don't remember the regular V2 existing when I bought it, I only just found out it existed recently.
I have 3 razor huntsman elite keyboards original version not the v2. I had a v2 and took it back to Best Buy exchanging it for the older version. I like it better.
I detest loud keyboards and hate the current trend of "lets make them louder!". Older video sure, however, I got the information I was looking for, cheers.
I had always used cheap membrane keyboards until around 2012 and bought a Razer Black Widow Ultimate. Although I loved the keyboard (Besides the useless macro keys on the side) It was just way too loud for me. And since then I've stayed well away from mechanical keyboards.. And went back to membrane ones. Today I was at a shop and they had a SteelSeries one I had seen online and was thinking about buying. But it felt kinda cheap. Then I saw this one, With the red switches. And I couldn't believe how quiet they are now.. I'll be ordering one soon. And be happy to finally go back to using a mechanical keyboard.
Yesteday I got the Huntsman V2 Optical with Purple Razer switches. Best gaming keyboard I've ever had, no regrets at all! It's a bit noisy but not much, I think you get use to it with time. The RGB is just beautiful
Thank you for this information as it was extremely useful. Looking to buy a keyboard not so much for gaming, yet typing. Looking at another brand which is adjustable then steered to Razer except for the excess sound click. Have you looked at the Razor Huntsman V3 yet to see improvements? Great presentation, keep up the good work!
It's response time isn't even a noticeable difference away from the analog since there's no practical reason for needing a polling rate of over 1000. 8000 is technically faster sure, but even 1000 is faster than your brain is capable of making inputs.
i want the analog v2 for its better rgb and usb passthrough, but i HATE the black switches... WHY cant i have the underglow rgb and usb pass through with linear optical clicky switches that is so dissapoining. I went to bestbuy to get v2 with purple switches and just now find out it doesnt come with the proper rgb or usb passthrough how is this allowed i want purple switches in the good one i dont want this bland peice of garbage!
I did go to microcenter and really liked the foam, it made the keys way quieter, That being said I did not buy it because I want a keyboard with two usb ports available, one for the mouse and one for a usb thumbdrive. I dont understand why a old dell keyboard can have a usb hub built in and only one cord to the pc but no one else seems to know how to do this.. lol.
Huntsman v2 is better than the analog imo as it is slightly faster and the switches are better + the analog is 70€ more expensive which is not worth i believe
I have both of these keyboards. I enjoyed trying on both of them, the Razor Hunstman Elite has a clicky feel to it, and they are louder, and I want to type on the analog more than the other. I am a colossal Razor fan, and they have yet to disappoint me.
But Razer always cheap out in so many things, like not having led lights at the rear of the keyboard, on the Elite there were lights but on the Analog there are not. Also they don´t offer replacement palm rests with leds. And the leds on the Analog are much brighter and even than on the Analog. The light underglow / bar doesn´t lights evenly on the Analog.
Idk maaan i just splashed out on the BWV3Pro with green switches and im living life destroying everyone's eardrums around while simultaneously having finger orgasms.
Please, with the Huntsman V2 (not analog), can you turn off the underglow and leave the keys lit up? I want the keys lit to see which key is which. However I don't want all the underglow which drowns the chassis in coloured light. It looks like you actually have these keyboards set up that way. They look like they are plugged in, but the chassis is not flooded with colour. When you see listings on Amazon for these keyboards, the chassis is always awash with light. That would be too much RGB for me, so I would turn that off if I could. (Just leave the key markings lit up.) Thank you in adavance anyone.
The analog version also messes up using a controller on windows. Its commonplace to have to unplug the keyboard launch the game use the controller and then plug the keyboard back up.

Finally. I was looking for this comparison
Coming in late but, thanks for this. No one else made a video like this.
I don't know if you mentioned it, but the regular version has 8000 Hz polling rate, whereas the Analog version only has 1000 Hz.
In my opinion, polling rate is practically irrelevant when looking at these speeds. Even 1000 Hz is overkill for 99.9% of use
I can't think of any instance where needing to check for keystrokes 8000 times per second would be necessary. Even 1000 feels like too much.
Well you're a human not a robot so it doesn't matter

i think the firmware's fixed now (^з^)-☆

i had the analog, thats really best keyboard ever I see.. im trying to find a new one, because i dont know what i want in my life heheh
What happened to the Razor optical purple switches that were on the Huntsman Elite that was superior to both of these keyboards in my opinion.
Which is brighter rgb?
Purple is the switch not the led so the brightness should be the same

How do I change the backlighting? Are there factory presets?
@@THEECATGUY you can change the colors by the razer synapse software
@@nicksonlangsdorff5725 when changing the colors, will it still work if I connect it to a PS5?
@@THEECATGUY yes, this keyboard has an internal memory, it keeps the color after you change on synapse, even when connected into another hardware

The regular version Razer Huntsman V2 has less latency. Its still the N1 fastest keyboard out there. Its a game changer in gaming!

you could ask this guy and wait maybe a week for a response or wait literally 10 seconds to search it up (it does and i know i'm late)
