I actually LOVE this makeup on you! It reminds me of Anne of the Green Gables or Winnie from Tuck Everlasting. Really beautiful look but I'd love to see you do a makeup that you feel is the perfect blend of your essences!
I feel like I'm watching autumn vacation Evangeline, like you decided to take a trip to carmel-by-the-sea in October, there's this balance of autumn warmth and summer warmth coming through 💕
Loving this series! I haven’t been watching as much makeup content in general bc it’s been feeling more like I’m just being shilled products instead of the creative fun side of makeup- but your videos are super encouraging with experimenting with makeup and bringing back fun into it! Love watching something that doesn’t feel like an ad, thank you!
It’s great to step out of one’s comfort zone and patterns because I always find I learn something new! Even if it’s learning what I don’t like in my makeup haha
It’s nice to see you try the natural essence. I think if you experiment you can find something you love! I think it might be my most dominant essence. I get uncomfortable wearing too much makeup despite my adoration of it! I’m light/med olive and I don’t like peaches on me, never have. Maybe try a natural look that isn’t peachy, but rose, berry or plum? That’s what I like and I think it’d suit you. Also bronzing drops instead of bronzer is what I do. I also like a one and done wet shadow look - try Sheen from ND I Need a Nude! And for lips your natural color is so beautiful on its own! I think a sheer gloss or balm would look gorgeous on you 🥰 trust me I know you can pull off natural essence! Loving the series so far!! ❤️
Sounds like you might have a touch of ethereal essence actually. The berry tones and soft sheens of sparkle lean towards ethereal, as well as that stripped back look. I’m excited to try that one!
I absolutely love these vlogs. Although this look is pretty on you I feel your personality is much vivacious and vibrant. Thank you for sharing this subject with us all. Love to Toastie 🧡🐶🧡 Best wishes Karen 🧡🍁🧡
I enjoyed this look on you, even if you primed us to be skeptical of it. It may be the hair though, I love your hair in these free waves! Also, you have very beautiful long lashes and that mascara - bomb!
I definitely find myself on the nature essence spectrum of makeup😅for me blush, lipstick and mascara are kinda full makeup look, I just don't feel like myself wearing more. But for you, I love how you can wear such different shades and colors, gorgeous! Waiting for more essences to come😌
I’m glad to hear that! I have “SEO specialists” slide into my DMs always saying how they can fix my channel, how adding music will help, but lots of people have said they prefer it quiet!
I think this type of look looks great on you! I’m the exact opposite, I feel like I’m somewhere between natural and classic essence and whenever I wear makeup that’s experimental or colourful I feel like I look absolutely crazy. But that’s probably also due to my own perception.
Ya definitely when I delve too experimental/bold/quirky I feel overwhelmed! It’s all about finding our own balance to suit our tastes and features. I’m excited to try the simplicity of the classic essence which will be a bit more made up than this but still kind of natural
I think you look so pretty with this makeup! For some reason I want to see it with a Stevie Nicks type outfit (even though that’s the opposite of beachy casual lol)
Hahah I’m here for that. It might have been my footage since the sun kept blasting in my house despite the curtains being shut! This time of year and my west facing windows means ALOT of afternoon light ☀️✨
I remember you did the same project with the color seasons and it was really fun! Honestly, how you manage to adapt the characteristics of a season/essence that are not yours (or that you don't really enjoy like this one) for yourself is amazing, you always look incredible!
So excited to watch this!! I loved the first video of this new series, and I can't wait to see what you create with this one. You have such an incredible eye for color and always end up creating beautiful looks. Thank you for sharing, hope you're well!💕 P.S. I also love how you include a fragrance with each essence look, it's so fun to have that additional element and fragrance is definitely so powerful and key in creating a mood.
I’m having so much fun with this series, and keep getting in my head typing people and celebrities as I learn more haha. It’s definitely one of my favourite style systems
Whenever I’ve tried it I feel like it looks like someone punched me haha. But I think it will suit the dramatic essence so I’ll try it again when I do that one!
This style has been popular for a while now and I never vibed with it. I don't understand putting a lot of effort into looking effortless😂 I have to admit it looks nice on some people tho', especially someone with light/medium contrast and softer features. I think I'm some kind of Gamine, so if I remember correctly Natural is my antithesis. I don't care too much about any styling system, but I do think I look sloppy rather than effortless in a Natural style. I don't think you could ever look bad in any makeup look, but I agree that the WOW-factor is missing from this look. I have a feeling your dominant essence is ethereal, but I'm curious to see you try all of the other essences too.
Haha I feel you. Like if I’m doing makeup already, let’s get some red lip action! Some sparkle! I just filmed Ingenue and probably going to film Gamine tomorrow. Lots of playful boldness with that essence
The irony is that of the 3 of these you've done (I just watched all three out of order and this was the 3rd one I watched), this is 100% the one that looks best on you. I haven't watched your videos previously, these just came up in my suggested, but I get the feeling you tend to lean more gothy-witchy-vampy makeup. I wonder if you were to redo this essence makeup again, but instead of taking inspiration from "warm" and "beachy", you took inspiration from mountains and leaned more cool-tone, you would like it more. The terracotta colored blush looked the best on you out of all three and if you went with a very light-handed, mid-tone, neutral cool brown for the eyes and a matching lip, I think it might be more to your style while still being of "natural essence." Personally, I think of myself as mostly Gamine/Natural essence. Based on your description in this video, I'm definitely a "natural" though I love a rusty red grunge eyeshadow.
Perhaps a mix of natural with ethereal for more of those cool tones! The funny thing about this series so far, as well as when I did the colour seasons, is that everyone kind of has different takes on what they like best. So in some ways, I think our personal taste affects our essence almost as much as our natural features and vibe. It will be fun to do the round up video and create a look picking from my fav essences, and see how that goes, since the magic is all in the blend 💕✨
i think maybe you might like this makeup more with less played-straight warm tones! the style of makeup looks lovely on you, but the colors might be throwing you off.
Don’t get me wrong you look beautiful as always, but I can tell this isn’t your vibe. You look so powerful and you shine when you have your stronger lip colours and shimmer eyes and your lashes 🩶
You look lovely as always, but this makeup look doesn't feel as "inspired," if that makes sense. Your artistry still shows, but most of your other looks feel more artistic and have that little extra *something.* I know I've said it before, I have to have a little (or a lot) extra *something* too. I know other people say I look nice with a "no makeup" makeup look, but I don't feel like it feels "complete" on me.
The colors you chose are extremely harmonious with your hair and skin, but there’s a touch of drama missing. You look fantastic, and maybe something slightly deeper in your crease instead might have felt more like you, a rust maybe. What a great video! Loving this series.
I think Chessy from The Parent Trap is the ultimate natural essence, and you kinda remind me of her with this makeup look! Gorgeous 🪵🍂
Chessy!! Yes, she’s a great example of natural essence!
I actually LOVE this makeup on you! It reminds me of Anne of the Green Gables or Winnie from Tuck Everlasting. Really beautiful look but I'd love to see you do a makeup that you feel is the perfect blend of your essences!
I feel like you are a combinaison of Romantic and Natural essences!
Love your videos, great job!! ❤
I think so too! With either a bit of classic or ethereal mixed in as an undertone. We’ll see how I feel once I do those essences!
@evangelinemolly yes for ethereal! The light blue eyes energy and the love for a scattered sparkle!

Oooh I love that!! And Carmel-by-the-sea is one of my favourite places on earth 😍
I’m glad to hear that! When I occasionally do a product centric video it’s just not as fun as the creative stuff!
I know it wasn’t your typical go to look, but I’m glad you’re doing this series and trying new things!! You look beautiful always ❤😊
It’s great to step out of one’s comfort zone and patterns because I always find I learn something new! Even if it’s learning what I don’t like in my makeup haha
@ You are so right! 😊
I find it fascinating that this isn’t something you feel comfortable wearing because you look amazing! But then again, you always do.
Aw thanks!! 😊 💕
I love these videos. You teach me something every time I watch you!
Aw love to hear that!
I love this look on you 😊

It’s so fun!

Ya this look was gentle and harmonious but I just need MORE! 💕
@ I agree 🧡🧡🧡
Even though you're not really digging this look, it suits you so well!
Thanks!! I think some small adjustments and a touch more saturation would make me like it more!
I enjoyed this look on you, even if you primed us to be skeptical of it. It may be the hair though, I love your hair in these free waves! Also, you have very beautiful long lashes and that mascara - bomb!
I love the natural essence for hair especially!!
I definitely find myself on the nature essence spectrum of makeup😅for me blush, lipstick and mascara are kinda full makeup look, I just don't feel like myself wearing more. But for you, I love how you can wear such different shades and colors, gorgeous! Waiting for more essences to come😌
Ya some people just look so fantastic and at home in the stripped back makeup!!
I’m so glad I found your channel, its so calming watching you do your makeup without any background noise 💓 i love it
I’m glad to hear that! I have “SEO specialists” slide into my DMs always saying how they can fix my channel, how adding music will help, but lots of people have said they prefer it quiet!
I really like this look on you! But I also understand how it might not feel like yourself. I am really enjoying this series so far!
Thanks! I’m having so much fun already exploring the essence system

Haha I love that. It was kinda Stevie Nicks hair, wavy and tousled!!
It's giving golden hour goddess but then again idk if it's my computer on warm mode. But you look stunning!!!
Hahah I’m here for that. It might have been my footage since the sun kept blasting in my house despite the curtains being shut! This time of year and my west facing windows means ALOT of afternoon light ☀️✨

🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Pretty makeup Molly🤩🤩🤩
Loved your gothic vibes 🤩 subscribed!🎉
Yay! Happy to have you here!
I think you have natural essence, the makeup looks great on you!
Aw thanks! I think I have an underlying natural essence but need a bit more contrast and colour to make things really pop!
omggg you look gorgeous! have you ever tried blush draping? I think it would suit your face shape really well
Whenever I’ve tried it I feel like it looks like someone punched me haha. But I think it will suit the dramatic essence so I’ll try it again when I do that one!
Your skin looks phenomenal!
Thanks!! Super hydrated and dewy with those products 💕
Peace Love and understanding. You are so sweet 🧡 Greetings from Stockholm 💋
❤️❤️❤️
Such a fun series
So fun!!

You need to try the melt lipstick in frisky. So good!
Oooh I think my mom has that one!! I’ll have to check it out
Cant you do a video how you do your hair too? Its really Nice 😊
Ooh I keep forgetting! I think I can film one this week!
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Don’t get me wrong you look beautiful as always, but I can tell this isn’t your vibe. You look so powerful and you shine when you have your stronger lip colours and shimmer eyes and your lashes 🩶
Ya it’s just lacking that OOMPH!

Yes!! I always want that extra something… a dark lip line, a bolder lash, more blush!! This was a fun experiment but it’s too simple for me
The colors you chose are extremely harmonious with your hair and skin, but there’s a touch of drama missing. You look fantastic, and maybe something slightly deeper in your crease instead might have felt more like you, a rust maybe. What a great video! Loving this series.
Yes totally! I always love that bit of extra drama/depth/colour💕
