NYCT Bus Observations: Flatlands Avenue & East 80th Street

Welcome back to Southeast Brooklyn!
Today, we’re at the corner of East 80th Street and Flatlands Avenue. This is only a mile in change away from Rockaway Parkway, the southern terminus for the L line, and is served by the B6, B82, & B82SBS (on Flatlands) and the B103 & BM2 (on East 80th Street).
Something to note is the position of the east and westbound stops on Flatlands Ave. Eastbound LCL & LTD/SBS buses stop on the corner of Flatlands and 81st Street. Meanwhile, westbound buses stop at Flatlands and 82nd Street. There is a eastbound stop at that intersection, but only locals call at it.
