I would love to see a video where you lay-out the costs of doing racing like this! I understand that's it's different when you have a youtube channel and sponsors. But would be great to have some insight into what costs are involved when you race a Honda in the TR class.
As a proud 6th gen hatchback owner seeing this car win all over the place means so much...these are seriously amazing cars, too bad the majority of owners give it a bad name...
I feel ya man, I've got a 96 hatchback myself so seeing this car kick all the ass that it kicks is really fucking cool to see. Especially since it began life as a DX, rather than a more factory equipped car.
I've never owned a 6th gen, but I've had several 4th and 5th, and it's so nice to see a clean, serious, high-effort NA circuit race build. Why Civic owners seem to gravitate towards drag racing and drift bro culture, I'll never know. These cars can mop at autocross, hill climb, and circuit. This series proves as much.
This channel has become “Saturday night cartoons” for me! Love how every shot is very aesthetically pleasing and beautiful. Go Short Ben, hope you have a great season ahead!!!
My mother died yesterday after a long battle with cancer. You guys have no idea how much you help me, and I'm sure others, with your videos. You make me feel like I'm there with you everytime
Always such quality content, I look forward to every single upload. One of the best motoring channels on this platform bar none. Love you guys keep it up!
Congratulations on the successful season. Excited for season 2 for you all. Also enjoyed hearing about the service intervals. That's good information as well when driving a car hard. (:
Man, it's good that you let the machine see 😀 I love the style you have and what you've been doing with the Civic. I believe without a doubt that you have and are becoming one of the most effective and handsome Civics out there. Keep it up and congratulations, enjoy with it
Would "Cannards" help assist Front Downforce and aid with Better Traction? How about Rear Cannards as well to help with Rear Downforce. Or maybe add some "Speed Holes" in the Hood to better expell excessive Air Pressure under the Hood?
Dry ice makes removing that insulation under the carpet much easier, and faster. Also, the weather proof lining crud under the car if you go that far can be removed this way.
I thought i was watching an old video, so i ended up going through the entire Gears & Gas channel for the civic pikes peak video. Turns out this vid is new, but… YOU’RE GOING TO PIKES PEAK HOT DAMN !
You guys were 40 minutes from where I live! Cool to see you guys using a minnesota business for your cage. You'll have to come to an autox up here sometime!
I hope that you and Ben will have another Road trip series I really love your Road Trip episodes Especially the Subaru Forester and Mitsubishi evo episode as well as the tesla and race car episode.. More power to your channel And hope ypu and Ben win tha Race, Drive safe always
i love being so early to these, you guys always upload these in the morning when i'm bored. youtube's best automotive channel. time to sit down and enjoy :)
I might have missed it. Did Artson use steel or chromoly for the cage? Chromoly is lighter and stronger when welded properly than steel. Should save you on that weight you're looking for
This is so awesome, but one thing I struggle with in the back of my mind is that I just can't comprehend the financial logistics of spending tens of thousands of dollars per year out of your own pocket on what is basically an extremely expensive hobby. I mean I may be out of line in this train of thought, but from what I understand, there are no cash prizes in these competitions, I don't suspect manufacturers are footing the bill for parts, and I very much doubt Andy works for free. Does RUclips really pay this well?
This is kinda why I am not into cars like I used to be. I realised I could just attend shows or circuit days & admire other peoples cars instead of pouring tons of cash into my own never-ending quest for perfection. Instead I just keep my daily waxed & well serviced.
i can't wait to get out on track, i just love being behind the wheel, you guys are def an inspiration, and this stuff does get pricey, if you dont mind; what the fitment you're running on those wheels and tires?
It's crazy how every k series seems to be down 10% compared to when it was first tuned on the dyno. Is that going to apply to a regular daily driven card that gets a few poles in a week? Or is that only cars like Andy was saying sitting above the factory Red line their entire life? GG gang 4lyfe. Love you bens

He does it when he first redoes the civic. Was around like 60k I tjink

Do u really wanna hear someone spending over $100,000 on a civic

The quality of G&G videos is absolutely insane! Love you guys!
Smart decision to put a cage in it. That series is getting fast.
Seeing the brakes and valvoline being seven months ago really puts it in perspective how long the civic build has been going. Keep getting those wjns

this is by far the best channel on youtube, racing, coast to coast adventure, cars!!
Pump the CO2 emissions straight into the cabin I’ve heard that is a lot safer on long trips
you guys have a new track vid - I watch without even 1s in!
Hands down favourite track car on YT right now

Man, it's good that you let the machine see 😀 I love the style you have and what you've been doing with the Civic. I believe without a doubt that you have and are becoming one of the most effective and handsome Civics out there. Keep it up and congratulations, enjoy with it

Best RUclips series ever.
Would "Cannards" help assist Front Downforce and aid with Better Traction?
How about Rear Cannards as well to help with Rear Downforce.
Or maybe add some "Speed Holes" in the Hood to better expell excessive Air Pressure under the Hood?
So happy to see you back in your element. Love your channels guys
So crazy how this car has changed over time!
I was wondering why I saw your Honda being trailered on i39 a few weeks back.
Crazy to see how far this car has come!
Days i go i was asking about the honda civic and today we got it perfect 😌
Love the music! Good tasteful editing guys, great job! As a loyal fan I’m loving to see the content get more and more entertaining as time goes on!
Dry ice makes removing that insulation under the carpet much easier, and faster. Also, the weather proof lining crud under the car if you go that far can be removed this way.
Now this is the content I love to see! Your build series are the best!
I thought i was watching an old video, so i ended up going through the entire Gears & Gas channel for the civic pikes peak video. Turns out this vid is new, but…

Wow !
Coming a long nicely.👍🏼

Does RUclips really pay this well?
Well, there is a sponsor for the car, but I’m sure some of the cost does come out of pocket. Sometimes you need to work for what you love!
This is kinda why I am not into cars like I used to be. I realised I could just attend shows or circuit days & admire other peoples cars instead of pouring tons of cash into my own never-ending quest for perfection. Instead I just keep my daily waxed & well serviced.
You guys are getting real close to the million sub mark👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Wonderful
i can't wait to get out on track, i just love being behind the wheel, you guys are def an inspiration, and this stuff does get pricey, if you dont mind; what the fitment you're running on those wheels and tires?
I was late on a few episode
time to binge some G&G
If Smol Ben wanted to, would Mia be within the regulations for GLTC?
Either way, welcome back. :D
