      All the plumbing is under the deck, the walkway inbound, outbound. It gets pumped to the islands treatment plant, treated, and then gets pumped out to sea. Electricity is all solar. Parking space is on the islands and you get your wifi from the islands. Most of the owners have boats to go back and fourth. They also have boats on call to pick up and drop off like an uber.

    • @MRTOMBO

      @@nathane2243 Thank you. I am disappointed with the "pumping out to sea" of ANYTHING Man claims is now treated as safe. Not being snarky, just my opinion. Would have been nice if they invested as much in a septic tank / treatment facility located landside somewhere, instead of the pretty window dressing out front, and then just "pump it out to sea".

    Technically you could have your own water treatment plant, in-house. You're surrounded by water, you just need to de-salinize - remove the salt, Pasteurize the water, run it through UV, filter it with multistage filtration: sedimentation, carbon filters and run a water softener.
    Heck you could even make your own oxygen, hydrogen, and even home-made bleach (sodium hypoclorite) with an electrolysis machine.

Nearly all of them have yachts and houseboats like this parked at the back of their houses on the canals.

    Over the years, I've thought it would be cool to live on a boat instead of a house on land. Of course it would be awesome in my opinion to have bedrooms under the water. What about big fish, like sharks ? I just came across this, and am so glad I did too. I don't have deep pockets, lol like these people do, but I'm enjoying what I'm seeing. Thank you for sharing. 🙂

    quick doubts_
    1. is the house literally floating, if no how does it manages changing water levels?
    2. how are the septic tanks installed and how are they maintained?
    3. are the services to house like electricity, internet underwater?
    4. since there is no direct road to access is there there provision of dock for boats?

      I was wondering that too...how big are the freshwater tanks...with all those big showers...and what kinds of large fish swim those waters...you're in the bedroom making out and there's a great white peeping in the window...

    • @tricktaylor1983
      @tricktaylor1983 Год назад +7

      Obviously there was electricity since the lights were on...and they built a mansion which i assume involved power tools...
      Have you ever seen a bridge over water? Theyre actually not floating above the surface and most have a concrete base all the way to the bottom of the water as does this house.
      Id imagine the plumbing is very similar to that of a yacht and that somebody would have to come empty your septic tank regularly. You certainly arent going to be tied to any traditional sewage line.
      In the beginning of the video you can see the boat that brought these guys out there as theyre talking on the outside deck which has the same features as any marina and dock to tie down a boat.
