I can’t wait to see a demo of those beasts. I really dig the rounded corners. I typed this too soon the demo is about to start.
You gotta plan a road trip brother.
@@myhometheater7029 soon my friend soon job going good and getting caught up
Those are beautiful
Bro,, those are beauties . Love dem carbon fiber w lots of power. Awesomeness
Right on dude!!! Happy to hear this review
I have question. I haven't heard good things about the Polk Rti series. Basically, I've heard that their vocals don't sound clear. In 2024, steel use the Polk Rti series. What do you think is the secret?))
175 Lbs??!! wtf 😳 😮. How low do these go? 12. 10, 8hz?!
175 is shipping weight. I misquoted. The subs weigh 145lbs. They go low, I’ll be showing in the next video.
Anywhere from 6 to 9hz. Depending on the room
Glad we finally made this happen! Enjoy them and I look forward to your honest thoughts on them.
Look forward to your podcast. I’ll definitely check it out.
These look really nice and hopefully sound even better. One suggestion. The flickering of the projector is really distracting so it might be a good idea to turn it off when you are doing a video.
$400 for what type of subs? Skars?
Ive got $400 or more in those skars and boxes I built from parts express
I knew you were gonna be impressed with these. I’ve also got a small room with incredible amounts of bass and room rattles can be a huge problem. There’s a lot you can do to solve it. For example the auralex sub-dude platforms work really good. Can also DIY them on the cheap. Lot of other things as well. Looking forward to the full review. I remember having a lot of fun re-watching scenes and movies when I got mine. Enjoy!
Ssheeeesh!! Those are one hella of a subs!
And i think thats the reason why for months i can't get the hst 18 at there website maybe deep sound bought all of them,i have 4 i need to replace my psa subs and everytime i check its showing out of stock .i was beginning to think the website is wrong and call directly to find out...in the meantime i was looking at resilient or skars ...great video, yeah those were at last year mwave.
Just a suggestion.. but especially if those 18’s are moving around at all, you should def order some ISO feet or some kind of rubber or similar isolation type product asap!! The bass might not rattle the room as much but the sound quality will be way better!! 🎉 so cool you got these!! Def try to run just the two new ones without the Skar for SQ comparisons. Please.
Those are seal
On a solid floor, our subs usually don't move whether on carpet or on a hard floor with our supplied rubber feet. I think the "floor" of his raised shelf is actually what is vibrating and allowing the subs to move. I'm sure he thought it was solid but these subs will expose the construction of nearby structures.
@@deepseasound7957 i try telling matty that seal sub dont move i have psa subs 4 18 they dont move, but they pop alot
The floor we sat them on is the reason they were moving. Everything is good now. New video on sound quality and performance is coming in the next few days. They are amazing.
How do they sound paired with the Polk speakers?
Great
@@myhometheater7029 that’s awesome I really wanna get the klipsch 1600sw subwoofer
The size of those sub boxes look incredibly small.
They're not. They're 3.3 cubes. Plenty big
Clear off a credit card and don't let those leave your house!!
