Good that Jo had her eyes protected. 🤣 A lot of looking good on video-film is lighting. Oh and a great hair and makeup team. The windows are gorgeous, and cleaning up the basement was a really good job too.
As always, thanks for watching! It has still been very busy at the house. Unfortunately, the heat is here and there is still a lot to do before we can take a break.
You would think that I'd like the sitting down in air conditioning work, but I definitely prefer the hands on, physical labor. The summer heat will probably change my mind. Thanks for watching!
The floor is actually in perfect shape. I think some of the tiles may look missing in the videos because of the unusual texture. I've never seen tile like this before.
In the pink bathroom just droo a pile from the attic area and then down to the toilet, preferably in an olde timey way. Saves destroying the tiles. Ooops. Too late. 😅
We've looked at this issue from every angle imaginable. We have now settled on doing the vent on the outside like they used to do when these homes were built. Fortunately, it will only be an inch and a half pipe and it will be better than what was already there.
Looking so good. Did they get the upstairs bathroom working too? Not having to go all the way down to the basement every time would be great if you're working up there. You definitely would get some steps in.😂 Enjoy the rest of the weekend. 🌼❤️🤍💙
We just gave up on the upstairs bathroom. It was incredibly frustrating. The plumber is coming back this week to try again with our new solution to the vent problem. These old houses can be difficult. I am definitely not lacking in my step count. I think my highest day was 30,000 and I never went outside - it was all within the house.

Safety first! Beauty second.
Great video and even better progress!
Thanks! It has been a very busy year so far
Great job!
Thanks! We were so tired at this point, but it all got done.
Thank you Janie! 🙂👋🏻
You are so welcome!😀
Another wonderful video. Thanks for the update 😊

Looking forward to seeing more soon!
More to come!
Not always fun for you, I suppose, but I truly look forward to each installment.

Please refresh my memory: these windows were always there; the level above was enclosed when the Kempners had the house, correct?
Yes. These are the originals.
Just a comment about Ben, he has the best voice. Maybe he could be a country singer.
@@janetlewis8038 He does have a great voice.
Looks like you need to take some of the small mosaic size tiles under the toilet base to reuse on the few missing floor tiles

Will the doorway featured be the entrance your tenants use ?
Great video.
No. This one will be a back exit from the gift shop.
