The sound of that twin cylinder two-stroke is fantastic - was waiting for you to wind it out and clear it up and you didn't disappoint ! Definitely brought a smile to my face, thanks for sharing!
Another great video of another amazing bike. We are lucky to have so many dedicated small bike builders and collectors in NZ but without you most of us wouldn't get to see them. Pop up headlight and this would be a dream bike.
Great video and information on bikes, especially the Katana. Loved my RG50 - should never have sold it. Back in the day, everything Suzuki made was 2 stroke, even their trucks, in fact that was a key aspect of their advertising in the 60s
@@SmallBikeStuff No, it's more the idea of consequently combining that classic design with a 2 stroke. Furthermore: It would have been been better if it the new tail reflected the rising line in the tank, like the original seat / mud guard combo does. But tastes differ anyway. 🙂
bart did an amazing episode on the Suzuki Katana and it's history; check it out: ruclips.net/video/MqXG9q_GkEY/видео.html
This is my favourite motorcycle. Made with passion and pure love ❤️
Thanks so much for watching I’m glad you like it.
So rad, thanks for taking the time to document and share this stuff! This bike really needs the OG seat cowl to balance it out.
Thanks mate, I've got more bikes coming!
Sorry for the lack of riding footage! I need to find somewhere this doesn't exceed the speed limit in mere seconds.

Thank you so much for watching! It's nice to see you over here in the comments. I need to find some better road as it had a lot left.
There becoming wicked collectors items these days, still love a good 2 stroke!
Yeah they are. The 250cc 4 stroke ones are still available in okay numbers through the auctions but those days won't last for ever.
That's one very cool bike I would love a 250 2 stroke sounds & looks amazing 😮😮
2 Strokes sound (and smell) the best!
I love the nz small bike scene.
Me too!
quite an interesting swap, but love the 2 stroke sounds coming out of one of those chassis!!
2 strokes just sound awesome!
Really cool and what a sound!!!!
It sounds perfect!
This is my most favourite bike in AMC 100% sure bro!
It’s really impressive to ride. It takes off quickly. Have to watch the speedo closely. 🤣
@@SmallBikeStuff yep, you made it!🙈

Thanks mate! Really appreciate it. They’ve just got a pop up headlight recently. I’ll definitely give it a go when it’s ready to ride.
Simon is a madman. Great bike, mods suit it well! Thanks for the video.
Thanks for giving the video a hoon!
RG motor went pretty well in the original frame... a neat take on the Katana. Will make an interesting ride.
Thanks for watching Aaron!
Wow! 15000 rpm, that’s incredible.
It feels bad taking it there - I rode the old engine version that did 15K. But it did enjoy it.

I need a 2 stroke truck! Thanks for watching Jim.
😮 man that is cool.
Agreed! Thanks for watching.
That’s a crazy high rev limit. Would sound so good carving through the hills.
I would love to take it for a proper ride!
Very cool bike. I was actually a pillion passenger on my mates 750 katana when he crashed back in the day. Was not fun but all ok.
Glad you're okay!
Are these bikes bigger than the honda groms? Or slightly bigger?, these look niiiccee 💯
Quite a lot bigger than the Groms, but still "small" for a big bike.
Never seen one of these before
100cc 2 smoke lifan would go alright in the katakana
Love it, except that shortened tail!
My slight fisheye lens made it look even more weird! Whoops. Thanks for watching though.

Please do a video on a rg150 pleaseeee
I'll try find one!
@@SmallBikeStuff they are awesome bikes I have ridden a rg150 and a kr150 both amazing
Yeahhh, I'm gonna go with the standard Katana 250 looking better.... But I would say that, seeing as I own one.😋
They are an awesome bike in stock form!
