@@TheSteveKinney The only problem I see with the feedback is that UA never acknowledges it, so you have no clue if any bug, issue or suggestion is seen by UA. Feedback needs to be a two-way communication.

First off, shout to you Steve for building good content for UA products and LUNA. Second, shout out to the whole UA team - Connor, Lev, Ben, Matt, Drew... man the entire team. The way this feature was implemented is so freaking clean. I see UA's goal now..... slow and steady. ARA2 support next. EXCELLENT!
Finally! Overdue, but VERY welcome addition to an already excellent program. Honestly, I was afraid the whole LUNA-project had gone into maintenance-mode, as development seems to be winding down and the whole thing felt like it was abandoned. Not so, and that makes me very glad! The implementation is elegant and very intuitive. Great job by the team at UAD! Thanks for the video, and congrats to Steve for getting the chance to showcase it. Well done, man!
Love the way it works. Now I have to upgrade to Kontakt 7 since it isn't working with Kontakt 5. The operation is intuitive. I was able to get things to function without guidance. The integration feels analogue...like the rest of LUNA. This is my easily my favorite integration of multi-out of any DAW. Well done.
Update; I have it working with Kontakt 5. I’m not sure what I did. But, after opening an Luna template that had Kontakt 5 already instantiated, I clicked the multi-out field on the main page and was able to create the multi-out routing. Sometimes the channels would be wrong though. Two instruments in Kontakt would be coming out of the same output on different sides of the stereo channel in Luna even thought the instruments were set to individual outputs in Kontakt built-in output mixer. But once I got it straightened out between Luna and Kontakt, I created a couple of Luna templates; an 8 stereo template and a 16 ch stereo template and all seems right with the world. Before, randomly, it wouldn’t allow for the creation of multi-out routing using either method; the track mounted option nor the plug-in header multi-out option. I’d get an error message. Once it works for me using the edit page option it also works using the mixer/plug-in header option. Thanks !

This was the only thing holding me back from moving definitely to Luna. This was a deal-breaker after buying an Apollo. I'm still on Logic, as it does what I need, but I've always felt more at home on Luna. Finally!!!

I have been waiting for this feature forever. For those who are using XLN Addictive Drums 2, you will have to create mono tracks. Overhead and room should be stereo tracks. Thank you UA.
Thats just where i got as i keep getting 13/14 -15/16 -17/18 and no other choice. Then i realised i was choosing stereo so i asked for handful Of mono Tracks to cover All but over heads and It errors out … spent hours wirh no Success and searching online .. you have It working With out issue ? At least That Will give. Hope

Already built a multi out template for one of my favourite Superior Drummer 3 kits for general use (starting point) works great and just like recording full acoustic kits, I have full control of each part now and what plugins and busss I send each to :) Thank you!!
I tried it out, on a few of my mixes, but was missing some key critical features for me, when and if they implement these Ill be there with bells on. Hardware insert plug in, is one, a proper "Save as" and a channel save . the lack of any of these features forced me to go back to my previous DAW. other than that I Absolutely LOVED it.
Yooo. I’m with you on the hardware inserts. I’m craving that. As far as the save, just an FYI, it’s there, it’s just named bookmark. The advantage is that you can add notes to each save point, you can also recall all the auto saves. Genuinely prefer it. The next nuance is versions, which is essentially like creating an alternate of the project itself, but without duplicating all of the original files. Also pretty cool. Hope that clarifies that one! Bruh, Luna has become my new daw, hands down. It just have everything i needed and not just that cuz every daw outhere have a;lll this features , its just so easy and quick no flow breaker . Reminds me when first started with Studio One v2 ...same feeling of no big menus and sub menus for one stupid lil shit. Everything is just there ready to use . The feature made me go full on Luna was he way it deals with virtual instruments multi output and freeze option which renders the outputs right there . No need to bounce and import from out the daw , no hassles just click done! Just like S1. Really , thank you UA for this free daw .

Around 2:40 you say "shows up as focus channel". I'm not sure what you mean, so I just put the midi in the Kick track? PS your videos have helped me so THANK YOU!
Great feature, glad they finally added this. The only issue I see is that I cannot select mono, stereo only. So for example, using EZ Drummer, I don't want a stereo Hi Hat, or stereo rack tom, or stereo kick drum. Yet It creates a stereo track of each. Maybe I'm missing something???
I have Luna on Windows and with a RME UCX2 sound card. Why when I record an audio track with a high buffer does the recording come out ahead of time? the buffer should not act on recording but only on listening as it is in all DAWs. can you tell me something
The few videos I've seen on this today, everyone routes the audio out to stereo channels because EzDrummer/Superior Drummer sets outputs to 1/2, 3/4 and so on. LUNA creates new stereo channels. Um, so when I want to use UA plugins to process the drums, I have to use all stereo instances? That eats up DSP faster than if I can use mono instances. Pro Tools multi channel out, I can output to Audio tracks that I can record the playback into, and not just Aux/Bus channels. In Superior Drummer, I set the "Kick In" channel output to 3/4 and hard pan the channel to the left. The "Kick Out" channel I also set to outputs 3/4 but hard pan it to the right. Then in Pro Tools I create 2 new audio tracks. The input of channel 1, I set to Superior Drummer 3/4 Left, and the second channel I set to Superior Drummer 3/4 right. Now my 2 individual mono mic channels coming from SD can be processed in different ways, using mono plugins. Makes more sense, instead of a blanket ability slapped in just to have it.
Dig the feedback mate! I’ll be honest, I’ve always experiences stereo multi out tracks myself. I’ll have to fire up PT and try it this way to understand more, but hit the feedback button in Luna! That’s how the devs get your input best. Cheers!
Hardware insert option, with the option to see, calculate and eliminate delay, like we can do in Pro Tools please and its whole new level. Than we will be able to use hardware with Apollo, hardware in Luna and complementing the final touch with UAD plugins from extra tones and flavours. For example, using a 1176LN hardware + using plugin revison A to make vocals next level. I have UAD COMPLETE, but I also have hardware and have to be kind of "cheating routing" to use it, not helpful. Why only limit it to plugins? If you emulate API, then you could be able to get hardware insert like the API console does.

Can you change shortcut keys in Luna, learning new controls is a big turn off for most people? And one more thing, sending multiple channels to FX and busses through a simple right click window instead of a one by one five click process would make me wanna open Luna more often. It's a great daw,love the,look,feel, the whole signal Chain possibilities, just make it easier and faster to use.Thanks!
If you look at the dock, all icons have the new smaller look but Luna. SInce Catalina i think OS apps adopted the new smaller icon look. I wonder when LUNA joins them.
it worked for Monster Drums, but not for XLN Addictive Drums. All the drums kept coming out of the same channel, even when setting up each drum to be separate from the master. What do I have to do to make Luna Multi-Out work with Addictive Drums?
Im sadden to found out that multi output is buggy in Windows version. It loses multioutput settings and i cant reroute them. I like UAD products but this product is not ready.

This is cool for using Battery and the MPC etc. Let’s get external i/o devices for working with hardware next.

They do, and you can freeze up to certain parts of your insert chain too.

Can you change shortcut keys in Luna, learning new controls is a big turn off for most people?
And one more thing, sending multiple channels to FX and busses through a simple right click window instead of a one by one five click process would make me wanna open Luna more often.

If you look at the dock, all icons have the new smaller look but Luna.
SInce Catalina i think OS apps adopted the new smaller icon look.
I wonder when LUNA joins them.
Hello! I have a Volt2. Why can't I install LUNA on my Windows 11 PC? Luna won't install with the Volt?

it worked for Monster Drums, but not for XLN Addictive Drums. All the drums kept coming out of the same channel, even when setting up each drum to be separate from the master. What do I have to do to make Luna Multi-Out work with Addictive Drums?
Be sure to report to their Support as well as ours.
With XLN Addictive Drums you will have to use mono tracks and stereo for OH and Room.

Need the ability to create track presets and also need to be able to access my sounds file in the browser… using the windows browser is terrible.

Im sadden to found out that multi output is buggy in Windows version. It loses multioutput settings and i cant reroute them. I like UAD products but this product is not ready.
LUNA FEATURE REQUESTS:
•10 plug-in inserts per track
The ability to -
•„bus“ track as input to an „audio“ track for printing instead of mixdown or bouncing
•create multiple Master or Main Tracks and assign an Output to them
•save track presets like for example a vocal chain and recall it
