V6 coming in a month is perfect since the new gpus will be out and the current gen will drop, poor people will finally be able to play this based modpack ( i might pick something up myself, my cpu with hardware decoding has a hard time real time decoding on movies with a ton of special effects action like super hero movies )
For me, Nolvus started to shine once i started modding the Combat Movesets in the Stance Framework myself. You can never satisfy everyone, ESPECIALLY when it comes to combat animations, so figuring out how that worked was magical. Ive now got both realistic and lore-friendly movesets aswell as combat animations from the Witcher and ive never had so much fun in Skyrim
Honestly even the non-fantasy preset on V5 was pretty over the top with the combat animations, I ended up changing them to For Honor movesets back then
@@Joshua_Graham01 I have installed v6 just like v5 however two mods are missing game data. That is grass cache mod and sunhelm settings mod. Every other mod is good. But since these two are missing game data this causes a CTD in boot every time. Repeat install is the same result. What could be preventing these two mods from installing correct?
Good intro Deepz. I downloaded Nolvus V6 yesterday morning. People do need to remember it is Beta but here is some of what I've found. The installer is great. I downloaded the list in just under an hour with zero errors although some people on Discord have had problems. My specs are RTX 3080 TI, AMD Ryzen 9 5900x 12 Core Processor and 64GB of ram. I'm old so I don't know what most of that means (the Nolvus installer provided the info which I love) but since my computer is older I downloaded the Ultra variant without the exterior cities. There are multiple customization options during installation. Everything looks good graphically and I'm getting around 60 -150 FPS consistently (and yes I've been to Whiterun). I haven't watched Biggie's stream yet but I personally haven't had many issues with the combat, I chose the fantasy option for animations and it looks good with stances. The dodge is challenging but I play on a controller which isn't supported in Beta. I played for hours without a single CTD. I hope this helps. Definitely will continue to play the Beta and look forward to the release. It does take 960gb or so of memory on the SSD so plan accordingly. Thanks Deepz.
Yeah I was wondering why NOLVUS v5 worked but v6 would not boot at all. I have both installed on the same SSD. Maybe I half to delete v5 before trying v6
I tried every variant with a 4080 super and ryzen 5800x3D 64gb of ram 3600+mhz. 4tb of SSD. Had little room to spare after both v5 and v6 were together. But v5 works and all versions of v6 does not boot even the redux doesn't boot either😂😂😂😂
this is looking great. v5 is probably my favorite mod pack ive tried, though i am currently enjoying apostacy. does v6 have dismemberment framework? i dont think i could live without that now

@@ItsDeepz_ Oh its awesome! Watch BrainFrogVR if you have never heard of it. His whole chanel is dedicated to the mod. It replaces all NPC dialogue with an AI model like Chatgpt. Basically makes every npc feel like a real person. Each NPC has a profile that is given to the AI model so it knows exactly how to roleplay that particular NPC. Also saves all dialogue so they remember past conversations with you. There convos are saved separate from your game save to so you can copy and paste them into any save you want.

Honestly enjoy Lorerim for a bit and by the time you are done your playthrough I am sure a good bunch of bugs and fixes will be done for V6 since it’s in Beta ( that’s what I am doing ) best of both worlds.

Is it also possible to have the ultimate experience (trees etc.) But on 1080p? I only have a 60 Hertz 1080p Monitor. I get about 90 FPS in Cyberpunk on max settings with dlss (no pathtraycing, but with raytracing.) I have a 4060ti 16 GB and a R7 5700G is it possible to have more than 45 FPS on ultinate?
Are there still many crashes? I want to play this, my pc should be fine rtx 3090, 64gb ram, i9-12900k, etc, but when i watched other people play nolvus v5 they would very frequently crash while playing. I like how the game looks and combat looks/etc but how is stability? Also how much storage space are we looking at?
@@nikirose7673they are totaly different lists... Nolvus is more of a power fantasy list. But I am actually dissapointed... combat is not bilanced and visuals are outdated believe it or not... and seasons of Skyrim are ...meh
@@MarkoMarkovina Yeah I played a while on v5 and wasn't too keen on the power fantasy side of it. Afik though that's been toned down and made more optional/configurable in v6. Outdated visuals I can totally live happily with ... for one thing I'm running a 12gb 3060 which tends to top out even running modlists that are several years old. And then, I'm old enough to have fond memories of playing text adventures 45 years ago and still feel amazed at the graphics of gaming now even with 20 year old releases. Gameplay trumps eye candy all the way for me, some of my all time favourite games have laughable graphics but the gameplay is so good that that's soon forgotten. I've just been watching some othe youtuber getting slaughtered by level 50 enemies in a new v6 game and complaining that it's no fun (they're so pissed off lol). But to me that is fun : -) I enjoy the realism of it and I always love a survival/stealth playthrough. And Lorerim being a Requiem build ... no walk in the park either. In my own builds I've always gone for the kind of game where it's a struggle to get from Helgen to Riverwood in one piece at the start, and where a good band of followers is essential to tackle dangerous areas. Great thing about Skyrim as well is that there can be so much more to it than just combat. Seasons yeah, divisive I know. But for me it adds so much to a long playthrough and it's really well implemented in Nolvus. Although I did spot a nasty landscape seam. It's beta though. Tough choice, I'll be playing both as I love the difficulty of Requiem as well. Both lists have most of my favourite mods included, although I found Nolvus to be marginally more user friendly when it comes to tweaking the list to personal taste.

I'm curious as to the choice of Nithi's NPC overhaul. Vektor gives users a nude option, 3BA bod with physics, and then puts a "lore friendly" NPC overhaul into the game that has a lot of the more popular NPC females looking like a they have potato faces. Some of the males Nithi's modifies look pretty decent. However, and I mean no disrespect to the mod author, I think they completely missed with most of the female NPCs.

I Like lorerim more in most aspects except for requiem and for the missing lotd content But the graphics in lorerim are even better than nolvus But yeah requiem pains me too much so I wait for nolvus v6 and ignore the suff I dont like

I know it's a beta version, but they forgot about the mouse button 2 to block shots, it doesn't even exist in the game's control settings. Anyway it's nice, it seems like a completely different game, I can't wait for the final version to arrive.

Recently reinstalled Skyrim. Is a 4090 required for the ultimate preset? I run a 3070 currently and boost FPS with Lossless scaling. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
@ yup, learned that the hard way. I’m now running the Eldergleam list at 1440p 100+ FPS on ultra/high settings. Really impressed at how performative it is while remaining graphically outstanding. Best Skyrim play-through experience yet.
@ yes, when you click the link to the manual download the file doesn’t exist anymore due to some issues the developers are trying to fix. but i found a fix for the problem.

Did it. I sadly deleted my v5 saves along with the instance. But, Nolvus autoinstaller is awesome. So much faster than WJ. So far, I'm liking some changes already, like the UI. Unfortunately, i only got to create my character before going to bed. Apparently, I have responsibilities.
only thing that is kinda sad to me so far....npc's are ugly as hell, like if they where thrown in a meatgrinder. hopefully vektor will add some options to choose between this abbominations and something else otherwise modding it out will be painfull as hell 120+ mods alone for npc's.
@@SuperStarkiller999 Anyway if i add nice super models overhauls (like in v5), people say it's too much anime, it doesn't fit skyrim, if i add np's overhaul that fit more to the skyrim harsh land concept people say it's not good. Sorry but these npcs fit better in the skyrim lore, nice ladies without being too much supermodel (a.k.a not lore firendly). To summurize with npc no one is ever happy. So add the npc's models you want at the end ;)

My problem with Nolvus is the obsession with anime characters. They look horribly out of place in this world. Creators of the mod are clearly weebs and that's not a good thing.

Yeah it's beta but it's also Nolvus. It's been in development like more than a year I think. My expectations for the modlist was very high that's why I'm surprised to see this obvious gap in a major city.

V5 is very stable but V6 is not.

Nolvus is heavily quest and combat focused so I really doubt it. You are better off getting a standalone graphics list

DLAA is much heavier then DLSS Quality
Nolvus looks so much better than most AAA games, and goes so hard (or deep, in your case) on every part of the game.

They would crash? Unless they are adding their own mods Nolvus is very stable l, I recently did a playthrough with 0 crashes

I know it's a beta version, but they forgot about the mouse button 2 to block shots, it doesn't even exist in the game's control settings. Anyway it's nice, it seems like a completely different game, I can't wait for the final version to arrive.

Goodbye Nolvus. I gave it a try in Redux version. Went everything fine, amazing graphics, 60 FPS and then i entered Whiterun. Damn, 5 FPS.

Recently reinstalled Skyrim. Is a 4090 required for the ultimate preset? I run a 3070 currently and boost FPS with Lossless scaling. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
All I know is you ain’t touching ultimate preset with a 3070
@ yup, learned that the hard way. I’m now running the Eldergleam list at 1440p 100+ FPS on ultra/high settings. Really impressed at how performative it is while remaining graphically outstanding. Best Skyrim play-through experience yet.

@ yes, when you click the link to the manual download the file doesn’t exist anymore due to some issues the developers are trying to fix. but i found a fix for the problem.

Did it. I sadly deleted my v5 saves along with the instance. But, Nolvus autoinstaller is awesome. So much faster than WJ. So far, I'm liking some changes already, like the UI. Unfortunately, i only got to create my character before going to bed. Apparently, I have responsibilities.
only thing that is kinda sad to me so far....npc's are ugly as hell, like if they where thrown in a meatgrinder.
hopefully vektor will add some options to choose between this abbominations and something else otherwise modding it out will be painfull as hell 120+ mods alone for npc's.
@@SuperStarkiller999 Anyway if i add nice super models overhauls (like in v5), people say it's too much anime, it doesn't fit skyrim, if i add np's overhaul that fit more to the skyrim harsh land concept people say it's not good. Sorry but these npcs fit better in the skyrim lore, nice ladies without being too much supermodel (a.k.a not lore firendly). To summurize with npc no one is ever happy. So add the npc's models you want at the end ;)

My problem with Nolvus is the obsession with anime characters. They look horribly out of place in this world. Creators of the mod are clearly weebs and that's not a good thing.

LOL. At 0:15 I can clearly see a large gap between to road layers in front of DB gallery. How can the modlist author miss this? Two road textures doesn't even match.

Yeah it's beta but it's also Nolvus. It's been in development like more than a year I think. My expectations for the modlist was very high that's why I'm surprised to see this obvious gap in a major city.
