Those two are the only really notable examples though, cause fuck Prominence and Lunapixel 3. I would have MASSIVELY preferred to make this a forge modpack, but unfortunately your boy doesnt know how to get dh + shaders working on forge lmao, so this is the best I can do for now. You should add this mod I found recently called Traveler's Titles. It shows the name of the biome at the top of your screen when you enter a new biome just like an rpg.
ribbon cleaver is INSANE....i played promince II rgp, and uuuuh i put on damage boosting rings put my stats into damage and had a artifact that gave strengt 1.... and a bit more and dealt like 125+damage

As someone who is currently making a massive modpack myself in a similar sort of genre, you could download the fabric files for FTB quests (requires FTB teams and FTB core) you can design an entire quest line rather easily

I think there’s a resource pack or addon or something for origins that puts the origins UI on a grid to make packs with tons of origins more accessible. I don’t remember what it’s called
no no son you see, if you want realistic world gen use JJ thunder to the max. Also if you want a GRAND stronghold use the mod integrated stronghold. blows this one out of the water easy
I like your vids mate, but this modpack looks like hell. Style over substance already plagues RPG Modpacks, and throwing a bunch of stuff together doesn't constitute a fun experience. I can practically guarantee that actually playing survival in this pack would just feel awful. That said may just be my opinions, since I'm pretty biased against the RPG series mods (I just think they're actually pretty basic, especially wizards) End Remastered also has a lot of really annoying crafting recipes. Some of the eyes are reasonable enough. Kill the wither, find an elder guardian, those are fine. Then you have the undead eye, where you have to get a 2% drop out of a Skeleton Horse, which is such an incredibly rare spawn to begin with that you're literally just waiting on RNG. Every time I see a pack tell me to collect these eyes I die a little inside. Still, it might actually benefit from lack of forced progression since I think mods like RPG Series often struggle to balance with one another, and the default balance is better than a lot of balances people try to force on it. Glad you had fun making it tho.
Am I the only one who could never play through such modpacks for long enough to actually finish them? Every time I start playing them with friends, it turns into a one-week game where you have everything, yet nothing at the same time-no clear final goal. At some point, you just stop seeing any purpose in continuing. Mojang isn't lazy; they simply understand that some massive features can ruin the core of the game, even if they look cool. The idea of searching for the eyes kind of balances all this out, but all those billions of armor sets and other stuff just feel like a disjointed mess.
The thought process that is hey let's just add a bunch of weapons and armor and say it's good is crazy Maybe it's fun idk I don't have enough time to actually try it out But it feels like this mod pack is a bunch of just stuff that is rpg themed and then the eyes of ender mod which looks cool AF btw I like the idea of it And then a bunch of dungeons which is fine but the weapons and armor in particular seem to have 0 thought put into how they would affect the progression system in the mod pack

fabric doesn't have many options, the only thing that changes from one modpack to another is the custom lore/world by the creator of it.
i used syntra connecter (is that what its called?) and put axiom in forge. it seems to work well. why don’t people just use that?

integrated stronghold is a much better stronghold mod imo, its very grand and uses blocks from other mods

I love all the Mods, but the armors are very hard to get cuz for many of them you Need Netherithe armor 😭
You should add modes that make it easier and harder so noobs like me could have an easy time like maybe increased loot for easier modes or something?
