Lethal weapon series is one of the best. All of them are great. The sequel lived up to the hype and the third was very good. The soundtrack is the cherry on top with that guitar
After seeing tango and cash, i think if russell added some edge to cash he couldve done the role justice. I would like to see that version. Maybe sam jackson as riggs?
Leonard Nimoy was also set to direct another great action comedy...1987's Stakeout! He agreed to do that before dropping out to do 3 Men. Also, uber agent Mike Ovitz tells the story how he tried to convince Paul Newman and Robert Redford to do Lethal Weapon (for he was constantly looking for a 3rd film the duo could star in), but Redford hated the script!
Nah, it only happens if movie fails. 3rd part made $321 mil with $35 mil budget. 4th part was expensive $140 mil budget, $285 mil revenue, almost no profit (but not a failure).
I really hope "Lethal Weapon 5" happens with Gibson directing.
It has to. Because it needs credibility
He announced he was doing this recently
@angelocanale8102 but when will the production start
@lexkanyima2195 This.
LW2 is one of my favourite movies ever. non stop action and a ton of fun
"Who is the d!ckhead now eh?" is an under-rated line from the villains.

LW 1&2 are brilliant. 3&4 are unwatchable to me. Gibson, like Connery in the JB movies, aged rapidly well before his time throughout the series

Best movie franchise ever.
Lethal Weapon and Die Hard are such solid franchises...well...apart from the last Die Hard I guess.
Mel Gibson was the best choice
It was good, but only the 1st one only.
What was the curious moment that everyone missed ?
Bruce Willis and Mel Gibson had a chance to be in LW and DH.
@@KinoReel-c4fCall me crazy but I could actually see that working out too.
Oh how far Mel Gibson has fallen
Risen
and it should've ended with part 2' 3' and 4' sucked

The third one grew on me And that dentist part in 4 gets me everytime😅
Diplomatic immunity
They didn't suck. They weren't as good, but they certainly didn't suck. I would pay to watch this cast read the phone book.
@@KinoReel-c4fI like all 4 of them
