I love salvaging. I don't do it for the ISK but just the play style. A scavenger of space. None of that large corp agreements/contracts either. Im talking about flying into those hotspots like this man here is doing and clipping this stuff.

Actually an Imicus will work as well, esp with an empty drone bay to drop off loot. Can also replace DC with expanded cargo for more cargo space
Good you corrected yourself about the gate guns aggro and suspect thing :) , would be good to mention to look up on Dotlan for example and check systems that have ship kills in last hour (set filter on ship kills and all that stuff) , can make your routes less random and based on luck (althou you have to realize that attackers/fighting parties can be still present so it's also more risky)
But otherwise , good investion/reward ratio right there :) one wreck can easily pay for the whole fit which is the cost of tech 2 medium drone :D

I have a salvage venture basic but brilliant all rounder. I use it in FW systems. Never been killed whilst doing it in venture.
Is better you let ppls know this dont happen every day, you get lucky in that day. New players who see this will think they will be rich in just a few days. Salvage work if you go with friends. Solo is risky and you lose way to much time. In all that time you have lose you can make way more in exploration.
I might start doing this more often, after all the thing that made me the most money in one day was looting wrecks during a battle in high sec between the hogs and vindictive. 200m ISK in one hour. And nothing has brought me that kind of money since. I wish there was a 3rd party tool for detecting high sec battles.
There is a tool; Dotlan . This link shows the amt of ships/pods destroyed in amarr in the last 24 hours for example; evemaps.dotlan.net/map/Domain/Amarr#kills24

i've got one main issue with this video: how often do you find unattended wrecks worth millions in low sec and how many times will you lose your ship worth millions in trying to find such a derelict?
But would it decrease your standings if you steal people's wrecks and salvage them? Anyways great vid 👌
TheSethyMan 000 it doesn't decrease standing but you will probably go suspect - flashy yellow and therefore a legal target in high sec and low sec

You probably need to train your Power Grid Management. Read up on the fitting skills here; wiki.eveuniversity.org/Fitting_skills
search for core skills
training skills for CPU, Capacitor, and other ship systems allows you to fit more modules
.. with low skills you may not even be able to finish a basic fit. on multiple ships I have had to fit modules or rigs to ease CPU or Power Grid conflicts early on
I also expect he could fit two salvagers without the Micro Auxiliary Power module

Why would you put rigs that give 10% more salvage success on your ship when the odds of you getting killed immediately at the gate are quite high?
It's all a risk. Why would you not put rigs that help you salvage the elite wreck and get out of danger faster? Plus without those rigs salvaging t2 wrecks is very difficult
@@eveexpertguides995 Because of risk vs reward. A magnate with some salvagers cost way way less than a single salvage rig. And as far as I understand it, the rig only makes you salvage successfully 10% more often.
Im newb in eve and was wondering how you get someone elses kill. It never lets me loot the yellow wrecks. Is it a ship module that allows that or skill? Sorry about sounding dumb in advance.
Hi The only stupid question is the one you don't ask! You have to disable your safety! Just don't shoot anyone in high sec after you do it! See the pic here; prntscr.com/ktq6da

Just to add to this... you don't have to set safety to "disabled" (red), setting it to "partial" (yellow) will allow you to loot other people's wrecks but still prevent you from accidentally shooting people in high-sec. Also, you can always salvage (just not loot) yellow wrecks, even with safety on green.

How do I leave a Corp that won’t let me leave?
Go into the chat box and right click your character name where everyone else's name is and choose "quit corporation". And then make your own Corp and pay 0 taxes!!

@@Viperbob hey there , I'm mostly a miner in high sec normally I fly around 1.8 to 1.0 space and I mine in asteroid remnant anomalies because sometimes you get really good ore in there and it's pretty safe.. but still be careful because there are suicide gankers that like to ruin people's day. i keep dying everytime, right when i get to tama, or any lowsec space. i break the bank just to get the build. its been 5 times in a row. never found a single wreck because i die instantly to warp scrambler
You can just put salvagers 1's on a rookie ship and do it that way and if you die it's only 100,000 isk

thanks i do something a bit driffrent.i salvage my friends wrecks and combat sites then i salvage away
Awesome! Just make sure you don't accidentally shoot the wrecks in high sec! Safety ON! :D
I did something different from this, using combat probes to scan down MTUs and drones in highsec and lowsec respectively. I carry Hammerheads to destroy whatever MTU I scan that is worth destroying, and ended up finding one worth a few hundred million from a destroyed Gila fitted with deadspace and faction stuff

Its a nice guide, but at 6:30 you say gate guns will protect you.... Doubt it, since you've just opened a yellow can, which gave you a suspect timer. Now everyone is free to engage you.

Might have to check into salvaging. Exploration has become much less profitable since right before the Triglavian Invasion update in my experience. I use to find lvl 1 & 2 Data/Relic sites all over in Wormhole space but now it's mostly lvl 3 sites which are guarded.
How you doing in salvage
I use a Cormorant with 4 Tractor beams and 4 Salvager,
Tractor beams are so useful, Im just sad I cant figure if there is a way to make they catch a wreck further than 20k.

do not waste your time the alpha clones have time limit yesterday, August 2, 2019 I still have an alpha account with 5 ships and all their fit and they do not let me into my alpha account that because I am not omega that wasted time was not supposed to be a game F2p
Alpha clone is fine if you just want to test drive the game. If you get even a little serious about it you might want to consider going on omega clone for a couple months.
That is wrong, alpha clones do NOT have any time limit, the only limit they have are: you can only train up to 5million Skillpoints, after that you need to buy daily skill injectors (they work up to a total of 20million SP afaik) and you are limited to alpha skills.
