@Agate Dad Thanks! I have a lot more ring videos coming up with many other rock types. I don't have agate around where I live so if you ever want a ring done email me and I'll make it happen! I only recently figured out how to make different sizes.
Hello, just discovered your channel, With the cofee cup, I admit i'm a absolutly metal lover, but rocks are pretty cool, You can continue on this way !
Would that work in a children’s rock tumbler? Great tutorial. Also did you make those inserts yourself that was holding the ring as you were rounding it
i love your content!! I’m curious, is it possible to do this on a budget? I’m really interested in turning some of my stones into rings but I don’t have any of this equipment.
I've been cutting rings with just a dremel tool. However I would recommend getting a drill with the diamond hole saws just for the sake of time. Doesn't have to be a drill press if you're comfortable with a hand drill
Do you sell these? Cant find the shop you mentioned in the channel - but id love a ring made from a rock from a meaningful hike if you do custom work: )
Really makes me wonder how the f our ancestors made entire vessels with accuracy so precise it makes your ring look like a throwaway. Just want to clarify I think your ring is really, really cool - just acknowledging the craftsmanship of the ancients.
i subscribed! wow man i seen a couple videos of what you've made thats some real nice stuff. i have one question for you can you please make a video of how a beginner like myself get started to be able to make stuff like you've made? an please also can you make a list of exactly what tools i would need granted i dont have many tool especially power tools like a lathe or drill press etcetera etcetera thank you you are very skilled and talented keep it up!
Have you made an icosahedral dice? I want to make one out of some rhyolite I have. And I have a piece that I think is rhyolitic tuff with lapili inclusions but, it's dark like it has a lot of plag in it, so I thought maybe basalt
Для создания колец из камня всегда использовали прямую оправку и мягкую мастику. А такой способ как на видео не очень хороший, так как изделие получается не пропорциональным .
Nice.. the center can be used for magnet on the refrigerator... or tic tac toe...
Good thinking! Or earrings!
This is exactly what I have been wanting to do... Thanks for the video
That was awesome!

Just came across your channel...love the ring.do you sell these?
:O could you make rings out of meteorite?
Yes
What kind of diamond drill bits did you use to cut the blanks from the slabs?
I'm not sure of the brand. They are called diamond tipped hole saws. I just used the common multipack found on amazon.
Well done 👍

What kind of equipment would you recommend if I don’t mind sacrificing tedium for the sake of saving money?
all you need is a dremel actually
high speed rotary tool can cut just about anything issue is the cutting edge is very small

I'm a little late to the party, but what did you use as your tumbler media?
Any tips for the ring not breaking! I have made some and within a few days, they break.
How much the price of stone rings nearly ??
Would these be something you would consider selling? I would love to purchase a white marble ring.
Im looking to do this with a rock I have do you take custom orders?
Imagine getting smacked by a guy using Stone rings as a brassknuckle
Nice.
can you do that without power tools?

I just saw a video of a guy making one from amethyst and opal. Super cool he's on RUclips can't recall the name.
Awesome. What size of drill bits do you use?
I use a multipack to get different inner and outer diameters. the most used ones range from 14mm- 22mm
Hey Rock Guy do you sell these? I would anywhere from several to many of my hard-earned dollars for such a ring.
what song is this?
It's blanket by van stee btw.
What son us that
hi there! How thick are the rock slabs that you are starting with?
Looks like an 1/4 inch
Brawuo guy
😍😎
what sort of tool are you using on the lathe?
It looks to be a diamond bit in a rotary tool, since the lathe is spinning the bit does not need to be...

Can you provide a link to this method you speak of?
@@savagenw477 The fact is that I did not find this process and did not look for it on the Internet. But I'm talking about it because I was taught it.

Nice video material, totally intolerable music.
Looks too fragile
Have someone throw a rock at you and let us know just how fragile they are 🤣
Not worth the effort, These break to easily!!!
Depends on what they're made of
