As someone who loves simple stuff, I really like the concept of 10min version. And I can't unsee the tongue of 100min version looking like an eggplant. Haha! Great work as always. I'm amazed at how clean you design.
This is great! 1 min vs. 10 min really shows how time-consuming the tiny details are and also how important they are in turning a basic design into something that looks more professional.
Designers, VFX artists, animators, concept artists(I think) and many more, are given so little time to do their jobs that it just destroys any creativity and chance to develop actually good product
I think for the "Hot Gummies" text on the last design, a cool idea would have been having it curve on the tongue, and have the tongue be red to signify "hot". Your eyes are naturally drawn to the tongue so having it on there would have been a great place for it. Plus if the fictional skull bombs ever released other flavours, you could change the tongue to match. So sour gummies could have a green tongue, sweet gummies could have the pink tongue, and heck you could even do bitter gummies and have them purple or something.
Because no company ever wants to have ineresting designs like these, they mostly just want to make sure it's brand recognizable, not that it has many details and effort put into it.

All of this looks great! The 1- and 10-minute versions would actually be a more unique choice, with the hand-drawn, more simplistic style, but in an easier "genre" of candy. Keep it up!

the illustration in the last one was soooo incredible you are the best packaging illustrator i had ever seeeeen 🤩🤩🤩🤩 although a red tongue would be better but the main issue was the black background it killed the design I felt like the orange would be a better choice or maybe trying purple
That was a lot of fun to watch and you're a great graphic designer and illustrator. I do think the 100 minute one ends up looking a little more like poster or decal for a heavy metal band than candy packaging haha

Probably because while it would look cool it would also elevate the costs by a LOT, and being completely honest, you would get used to whatever package they use quickly so it wouldn't matter in a couple months if the package is more minimalistic or more detailed, so why'd they bother?

There is a huge upgrade on the before and the after whenever you do the highlights and shadows!
