Tell me my Hondata is junk without telling me it's junk 😭😭 lol great video man love when you guys are willing to give out killer information you've learned over the years to the rest of the community
HOLY HELL! You just actually explained why a Haltech is so "powerful"... Generic Sensors and 4d tables actually makes sense to me now! Thank you 100%!!
i have a haltech 750 on a jdm 2jz nat love it sucks it didn't have knock control but what i did is got a fwl tuning knock detection controller and wired it to my ecu and made it a generic signal so when it sees 3 volts or higher it will pull timing -3 degrees keeping me safe and it works ! im still learning so much from this ecu i have a friend that has a 2500 and he has a lot more features then me but im still happy with my choice. it would be awesome if you did a live tuning session
Would definitely go with the Link G4X although both are good. While Haltech does have a user friendly interface, I've found Link to have better hardware features, strong product support, and a good overall community. Follow your tuners recommendation of ECU but if this a DIY then Link has my vote.
@@user-ki8zf1rp1e That is what I am going to go with and yes it will be tune by me, I know how to tune hondata so learning links shouldn't be that hard.
BA/BB ALLIANCE, 🏋♀️AEM INFINITY (not mentioned) ,does it everything just as the ELITE, pnp honda jumper harness & has base maps for hondas, built in Lambda & realtime or usb on board data logging..
Damn that was a nice crash course. And this is barely touching the surface of it. Crazy how you can overlay all those parameters one on top of the other.
Im having major issues getting a tuner myself. None ofvthem would tune my car unless it was on a standalone lol. So just got done installing a halt ech ecu. Pretty common ecu to use out here. Wonder what new reasons they'll cone up with to refuse to tune it lol. The problem is that I have a fully built 3.1l all-motor 6g72. And no one builds these engines like this so every tuner goes. Im not familiar with that platform lol. No one is bruh, no one is lol
Is there much difference between the Na and the turbo version of this motor? I did a 3000gt vr4 engine in an Datsun 510 and it went pretty good on an Haltech box.
Transient throttle has been broken on Haltech for quite a while. Turn it off and turn on Map prediction/Fuel film and it'll instantly be 100 times better.
Yes. Used it with zero issues before. You just have to take the time to dial it in. Map prediction is way faster, but using them in combo together is even more optimal.
What would you recommend for an 06 RSX Type S? I want to get your budget turbo build once it is available but I want to get the ECU first. Would you recommend the Haltech PLATINUM PRO or the Elite 1500? I will be taking the car down to Humble for tuning and I would like to keep A/C and cruise control. Thanks and Subbed!
Because you have a lot of experience, it seems easy, but for me, there are a lot of questions that I need to answer, is there a way to communicate with you and find solutions?
Kenny bro! You're like Master Yoda, you're so smart when it comes to this shit. Im building a K swap civic right now and will be coming down from Kansas to get it tune. Can't wait to learn from you. Good job! Keep it up!
If you cant understand the video, play it at .75x speed.
I am playing @2X
What about a LS tune?
An ls tune you need to check the specks on the ecu and find fuel curve and what applications you are using 1:30
Do a live tune. Start to finish. Would be awesome. Love watching. Pick up new techniques and approaches.

This video probably got you more questions asked than answered for most but i really appreciate you posting up. Thank you.

Let's goooo humble performance. Pfi's speedfest 2024 we need you
had bad experiences with 5 tuners. lesson learned, tune it yourself. 99% of tuners do not care about you or your car.
I’ve been watching this channel for years now and I still rewatch that intro part!
I switch from kpro to elite 1500 is night and day …💪

Thank you lmao. I tried of people who don't know shit keep saying fueltech is the best just because their fav youtuber runs it
I am between Links G4X and Haltech Elite 1500 for my S2000.. both are great choices, hard to pick one.

@@civicpride1986 Right on, good luck with the build bro
The only reason why I can see why motec is better even with older hardware is that you can make your own tuning firmware from scratch
Good day can this Haltech work with 2010 Honda accord k24z2 or k24z3 enginws
BA/BB ALLIANCE, 🏋♀️AEM INFINITY (not mentioned) ,does it everything just as the ELITE, pnp honda jumper harness & has base maps for hondas, built in Lambda & realtime or usb on board data logging..
AEM Infinity has been discontinued for quite a while…
(And no, AEM doesn’t do everything the elite does)
Damn that was a nice crash course. And this is barely touching the surface of it. Crazy how you can overlay all those parameters one on top of the other.
how do I order your budget turbo kit for k24 it’s not giving me an option to

Yoooooo pfi speed calling yall out (friendly fire ofcourse 😂)
Thanks for the video. Any videos on transient throttle tuning? Haltech
Transient throttle has been broken on Haltech for quite a while. Turn it off and turn on Map prediction/Fuel film and it'll instantly be 100 times better.
It was never broken. Worked fine but people never took the time to learn how to tune it.
@@humbleperformance do you use it?
Yes. Used it with zero issues before. You just have to take the time to dial it in.

What do you know about the k20z2? Dont see alot of solid info about it online
Fueltech does have VE maps bro
No it does not. It has a viewing option that makes it look like VE but it is not VE.
I see what you saying, it worked for me tho lol

Ended up going with the Platinum Pro

I use s300 still but im going to use k series so dont use kpro 3:55
#humbleperformance werent you all in Lee NorthCarolina 19:18
So if tuned on pump gas with ve tuning you can add a flex sensor and choose flex fuel and just add e85 and are good to go?
Correct. You'll need to set up your boost comp/ignition compensations, but fuel will be on the money.

Ok fine I’m switching over from kpro to a elite 1700
What sort of power do you guys see the stock kseries coils start giving issues at?
1200+
