It will run. These blasters are pretty good at getting running. Only thing is getting them jetted correctly can be a pita. Looks like u got a good score there for sure.
One of my first experiences on a quad was a blaster bad ass quad!!! It was a racing one it would snatch your hands off the steering when you floored it
3/16 in round ball bearing will work for clutch push rod ball bearing. I have been torn apart old axle bearings apart and used the ball bearing out of them.
I have some spare blaster parts, o built a blaster up as a race bike and changed slot so I have a bunch of stock parts including stock suspension components and a whole mother frame, plus more, if you need anything
Didnt see the clutch push rod or ball for the clutch boss also would do a mixer delete and mix ur own gas 32:1 save u from blowing a piston and cracking the cases when the pump gose bad
Tip; If using a chain without o rings, place the chain in a pan with clean grease and heat until the grease melts. Give it a few minutes to flow between the rollers and pins, then let it cool off. The grease will be in the chain for a long time.
I love your videos and i love it that you can upload this frequently... im addicted hahaha greetings from holland and please keep doing it the way you always do
Shift detention and spring are missing. It stripped out. Gonna continue to watch till you notice. Happy you are doing a blaster. One of my favorites to work on.
Nice work, I got a kick out of seeing you stack the clutch with a diagram on your phone. I can't tell you how much time I spent doing the same thing after doing a tear down rebuild of an 89 Yamaha Moto 4 350 on my channel.
I wish you would build a work bench. You are doing it on the floor like the videos in India restoration. They're good and so are you, but it would be more gooder using a work bench.
I know your trying to get the bike back together as cheap as possible but you really should have put a new set of crank seals in. I have personally had several 2 stroke bikes that were very hard to start or ran poorly due to leaking seals, they are cheap and easy to replace with the motor apart, to me it's just good cheap insurance of not having any issues once it's up and running. These blasters are pretty fun and easy to work on.
It doesn't matter just suggestions. It's ultimately his decision but i think we can all agree a bench will help him and getting those parts off the dirty floor is a plus. His content will be better for it.
Hell yeah! I got a 2000 blaster, excited for some more blaster content. I got a couple idling videos posted. Not trying to have anyone click my page, I just have a full pro circuit exhaust and Alba arms.
Also, if you want the engine to shift you have to turn the input shaft, but with how loose that drum was I’m gonna guess the transmission was messed up.
Whats up buddy i just wanna say congrats on your channel growing but man im on the rocks do you have a spear exhaust for blaster the one i have snapped in halfs
I really do like watching your content, I had to do a timing chain on my rmz450 and I was afraid of doing it and messing it up but after watching you for the last year or so I did it and it was no where near as bad as I thought it would have been plus I saved nearly $400aud
Check the shift fork pins roll on something flat ,look at the drum where forks ride for wear. Those will make it not shift. That arm will make no difference if anything be easier to shift without it. Also you weren't spinning the trans while trying to shift so could be your problem
man why can't I find deals like this. yeah Bent shift forks are not all that uncommon. it's such a simple motor, the cases can be split and the engine rebuilt in an afternoon or evening. the main thing to watch out for, make sure you're piston doesn't have speckly little dents and things in it. the top of the Piston should not look like coarse sandpaper. this is a sign that the crank bearing has gone bad. that's by far the worst thing on this whole bike to go bad, is the crank bearing, or, actually, it's the connecting rod lower bearing. it's the worst thing that happens with a two-stroke aside from a extremely scored piston. other than that, everything is very easy and straightforward on this motor and that's why this bike is so awesome. two strokes rule, four strokes drool.🥴💢🏁😜💯💯💯💯
I just bought two blasters one has bottom end broken hole thru case other is in pices but I have like 4 sets of heads and jugs.do you think if I reuse they should be good mine like pretty much like urs not damaged beat up no scoring no scratches ? For the piston jug and head is what I'm asking about
🤦 U reused the old GASKETS!!?, WHYYY. I know from buying others people's junk not to reuse old gaskets. I bout a blaster from a guy for 600 bucks complete, he said it hadn't ran in a while but ran fine before and had a "fresh top end". So I do the usual, clean carb, fresh fuel, check spark. I go to fire it up, take like 15-20 kicks and when it does it sucking air from every direction( massive air leak). I pull the stator cover, 1: half the threads on the crank are gone, 2: the middle half of the crank seal was gone, and 3: was missing a stator bolt. Then, I pull the head and cylinder off, and guess what, old piston, honed bore, and a new base gasket stacked on top of half of an old one. Take the clutch cover off, and the counter balancer gear was off time. That's just my personal experience man, so I highly advise u to redo what u just did with new parts, instead of selling it once u get it running to "your standards", which from what I've seen in the past, ain't normally good.
So I just clicked on one of the later videos in the series and after watching the first 10 seconds of this one are you telling me all this thing needed was a chain, air filter and petcock? Holy shit
ok after finishing the vid I see you needed like 3 additional very inexpensive parts, this was a great find. Are you self taught mechanic, i just get that feeling by how you flow through each item.
I'm just about to do a similar video on my YT Channel. I bought a basket case KX250f that came in boxes. I usually stay away from such builds but I have a heap of spare parts from previous projects that should get it running. You should invest in some machine shop tools and learn to use them as If your doing this fulltime you will save a lot of money. Look at getting a lathe, milling machine and surface grinder. I use mine daily working on projects and have saved thousands making your own parts. Anyway just a suggestion and good luck with the build. If you need any help please ask. Cheers Rick MTR
Im Having problema with my Blaster im Running 280 main jet no lid filter Dg silencer when i start running feels like bogging then run strong at high iddle i already clean the carb any suggestions??

I think it will
You can make anything run
It will you got the quad gods watching
It will run. These blasters are pretty good at getting running. Only thing is getting them jetted correctly can be a pita. Looks like u got a good score there for sure.
Need any parts for it I got a parts blaster no plastics but everything else is there I bought 2 for 120 bucks rebuilt the other one
One of my first experiences on a quad was a blaster bad ass quad!!! It was a racing one it would snatch your hands off the steering when you floored it
Sweet can't wait to hear it run,I have a 92 and have owned it since 96,it has its original color however and it still runs like a charm 👍😊...
That motor will not shift laying on its side and you have to kind of rock the transmission shaft back and forth while doing it.
Yh and it will be clonky with no oil init lol
He’s learning leave him to it

I have some spare blaster parts, o built a blaster up as a race bike and changed slot so I have a bunch of stock parts including stock suspension components and a whole mother frame, plus more, if you need anything
You need another big work bench, time to get off the floor LOL
love your videos. cant wait to see this running
2v timeee. Finally the blaster
Didnt see the clutch push rod or ball for the clutch boss also would do a mixer delete and mix ur own gas 32:1 save u from blowing a piston and cracking the cases when the pump gose bad
Haven't watched it yet but this is a video that will display your box to bike skills. Like the sticker on an ikea box SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED
I get so excited when I see that you uploaded a video
These videos are awesome. He explains everything so damn well.
Idk if you remember me but we found a banshee and it's really cool to see you rebuild the bike that I ride
That little arm you showed us earlier in the video is the shift drum stopper arm. It should be spring loaded against the star wheel.
I remember putting together a blaster just like this last year, it was a ton of fun and it had power too, enough power to wheels with my 215lb fatass.
Damn I’m early.
Love your vids man keep up the good work 🤙🏻
Tip; If using a chain without o rings, place the chain in a pan with clean grease and heat until the grease melts. Give it a few minutes to flow between the rollers and pins, then let it cool off. The grease will be in the chain for a long time.

Unbelievable you the man. Videos are awesome
Looks like your missing your clutch boss spring in your clutch assembly it goes after your first friction and steel plates.
Love your videos

Shift detention and spring are missing. It stripped out. Gonna continue to watch till you notice. Happy you are doing a blaster. One of my favorites to work on.

thumb nail: yamaha blaster in pieces will it run?

Like that it will run... down the hill
@@fullmetaljacket7 FAXX😭😭
Great Job!
Great video thanks for uploading today 😊
Can’t wait for tomorrow’s video 😁😁
I’m trying to find another Blaster I have a 350 Rancher rn
I would really like to see you get a Honda 300ex or a Suzuki ltr450 or a Yamaha yfz450
He just got a yfz it’s on his story
You can actually Anneal copper head gaskets and reuse them. Annealing is heating the gasket up to a glow and letting it naturally cool off.
Oh nice video!!
you and that tore glove, name a better duo
You should get Honda 300 four trax
It's great when people complain cause your not using a work bench,it's your project and garage,so does it really matter?
It doesn't matter just suggestions. It's ultimately his decision but i think we can all agree a bench will help him and getting those parts off the dirty floor is a plus. His content will be better for it.
I always work on the garage floor. I like the space.
Awesome vid and edits and filming and bikes
Hell yeah! I got a 2000 blaster, excited for some more blaster content. I got a couple idling videos posted. Not trying to have anyone click my page, I just have a full pro circuit exhaust and Alba arms.
I hav a 2005 from my bestfriend that got killed in a car accident its been garage kept like mint
@@bozobuiltit I’m sorry for your loss man
@@morrow49 its ok thanks it was almost 15 years ago hes father gets all teared up every time he rides it
you might want to grease the swing arm bolt
Your missing that spring plate in the clutch basket.(whatever it's called) It won't work if it's not in. Dealt with same problem
Also, if you want the engine to shift you have to turn the input shaft, but with how loose that drum was I’m gonna guess the transmission was messed up.
I think I saw some purple under those black plastics. I think you should try to get that purple back its rare
Smash an old bearing for the missing ball.
Hell yea joe get it bro👍👍
Need new oem base and head gaskets! copper head gasket needs to be annealed if reused. Don't skimp here. Leak test.
Good stuff 👍 you should try to find a fuel injected yz450f
I was looking if you posted a new vid and when i opend youtube i saw it posted 4 minutes ago
Whats up buddy i just wanna say congrats on your channel growing but man im on the rocks do you have a spear exhaust for blaster the one i have snapped in halfs
If you reuse copper gaskets your supposed to heat them up with a torch first because it softens the copper
I wish I can just drop my dirt bike off for you to fix 😂 great videos I subbed
What kind of electric drill to you use i see you using it all the time and it seems like its got some power.
Love your Vids
I really do like watching your content, I had to do a timing chain on my rmz450 and I was afraid of doing it and messing it up but after watching you for the last year or so I did it and it was no where near as bad as I thought it would have been plus I saved nearly $400aud

I think it would be great do to a race between a 400ex and blaster 200.
Any junk yard footage?
I wish I could get lucky to come across a blaster for cheap would be a blessingg
Awesome video
No way I’m just doing same thing just got the hole frame now engine carb source in few parts atm

excelent doctor!!!!
Somebody's project that did not get done before it got traded to you is a lot different than junk out of a junkyard.
Could you show me how to replace the piston on a 2 stroke?
great video wish i had half your patience lol
I just bought two blasters one has bottom end broken hole thru case other is in pices but I have like 4 sets of heads and jugs.do you think if I reuse they should be good mine like pretty much like urs not damaged beat up no scoring no scratches ? Dats gonna be alot of work dude
Just got me a Kawasaki Mojave 250 I really like it but seems like it’s holding back power any tips
Air restrictions possibly? Exhaust could have something in it.

Look it up on RUclips what ever engine you trying to split
It's a Gypsy moth larvae and they will give you a rash and can also give you respiratory problems.
Somone had a vid clip of your brother on the CR500 on tiktok user name was turkeybirdd, I was like hey!! I’ve seen that video lol
