From small town Indiana to a Janus featured episode on JAY LENO’s GARAGE. These guys are doing something right. I bet that they are being pushed to build a 400cc? Maybe a 650cc by fans of Janus. Everyone seems to want bigger like boat ownership, the Jeep, etc.

I was absolutely 100% sold when I saw the small town, hand built, made to order fabricating process. I was a bit disappointed when I saw the engine was foreign though; it may or may not be a great engine idk but for me it took away from the excitement I had for your small town community build process. That being said; your building absolutely stunning bikes and I fell in love with them the second I saw them then even more so when I saw the video of your stories. I truly wish you well now and hopefully in the future.

There are no manufacturers of small displacement motorcycle engines in the US. If they were to make it themselves, it would most likely more than double the price of the bike.

This is just AWESOME news for those of us who love the old school motorcycles from the 1920's-1940's! A light, get around machine that fulfills the role that the DKW motorcycles of Germany used to fill. I'd love to see more designs from Janus, including cafe racer styles and others. Wonderful work guys !

Wow a modern-day Harley and Davidson. I believe the Janus has a spirited style from the soul of the golden age of the American motorcycle in its' beginning from which took the world by storm till this day, Freedom on two wheels an essence felt so easily and so inviting because of such a barebones old school concept in build . Love the Phoenix.

For an American made bike, its too British-like in design. Cafe racer comes to mind. How's 229cc considered a 250cc bike? Seeing the two little girls riding and laughing in the sidecar had put a smile on my face.

The bikes look great, wish you all the luck , I understand that you make them by order and their are coasts involved, I myself would not be willing to pay the price for your bikes, you can buy a Royal Enfield for the same money get a classic bike and a lot more bike, and soon R.E. is coming out with their 650 parallel Twin, for about the same price, I do understand you are a small company with coasts involved, good luck in your business, again think your bikes look awesome!
