Not a lot so he looked at that as an opportunity. But maybe he also wasn’t thinking about his group during the time cause he was young. A lot of feelings were thrown at each other between the disses against each other of NWA. So you know there was love for each other. Luckily every group that saw that? Like Wu Tang and The Lox? They didn’t do that to each other but same time it was tension within the groups especially Wu Tang but not too much of The Lox. Which is a reason they didn’t do a lot of albums together. @ Scru Face Jeano your 1000% correct La was the birthplace of what we call Gangster rap but back then it’s was “reality rap” with artists like ice T and Jesse Bonds Weaver Jr aka Schoolly D really being the first Artists to do it in that style and that was in the late 80s, it’s spread to California with artists NWA and Tupac then Dr Dre and snoop came at it in 1992 adding the Gfunk sound we all know and love with gangster rap making the whole genre mainstream

A brutal diss at Roxanne Shante. But in my opinion as of now Hit'em Up and Either stand by themselves at the top!

    Too Short was rapping about bitches, money and pimpin representing Oakland since the early 80s .As a matter of fact I don't think Short Dog got much radio play , ever because he is extremely vulgar but he makes it all sound so cool and glamorous to be a pimp.
    This guy went double platinum and before getting signed sold '"custom tapes " outta the truck of his car. Tapes about an individual in the hood. Could be a pimp or a drug dealer and they would pay Too Short for the tapes he made for them. Too Short has collaborated with many other great artists (rappers) but always remaining loyal to his region and legion of fans.
    I mean he did trademark the word BIIIITCH!!!😂

    Stop telling people that Eazy E and N.W.A invented gangster rap, since Schoolly D and Kool G Rap were doing it long before N.W.A was on the hip hop scene. However, N.W.A did bring West Coast rap to the forefront, for which they deserve credit.

    • @jokerofmorocco
      @jokerofmorocco 8 месяцев назад

      It's hard to know who invented it because gangster rap would've started underground where it slowly gained popularity. However, what is known is NWA popularized gangster rap and made it mainstream. For which they deserve all the credit.

The whole NWA persona and dress came from E. So it’s all pieces of a Puzzle.

    I need a doctor with Eminem man it really feels like EZ really let the disses get to him. Really after the chronic album by Dr. Dre never said anything else negative publicly about EZ. But EZ spent the next four years doing interviews and spending time talking about everyone on death row in released like half a dozen more diss tracks. I mean in one interview he’s seen no one on death row has any street credibility at all and then he’s talking about how Dr. Dre got shot, snoop was involved in a drive-by and got arrested….. technically those things can’t really be said by the same person. Lol I mean I love EZ and Dre and rest in peace EZ, but you could tell the interviewer could tell that if he’s trying to tell people that they’re not about that life, and then the next few things, he says, makes it seem like they are about the life was sending conflicting messages. And yeah Dr. Dre was never a Crip or a blood or anything like that really never claimed to be. But to see that Snoop Dogg and Daz and the other dudes weren’t really from Long Beach felt like EZ was just talking to talk at that point. And I’m not saying EZ wasn’t a real street dude I mean clearly he was bud. Yeah, those dudes are really from Long Beach LOL and Dre’s from Compton I don’t have any clue why EZ would say that man really wasn’t from Compton. I understand him saying that he was never a street dude but when you start saying people aren’t from the cities they’re from especially when no one said anything about you in a couple years….. I think by that point it would’ve been better if he would’ve just completely dropped it because it looked like he was really trying to hang onto that beef for his sake.
