I do that until Luigi is 5 levels ahead of mario, progress through the game, go and fight stronger enemies until Luigi is 5 levels ahead, progress through the game, repeat.

Today I learned the Death Star's final suicide attack actually isn't an insta-kill. I don't think I've ever finished that fight with low enough health to actually die to it EDIT: Also I realized that I'm an idiot and called the Dark Star the Death Star
It is even worse in dream team where the first 3 hours of the game you are asked "care to hear about attack evasion?" Like seriously, you are pestered by starlow, toadsworth, and one of the ? block guys (I do not remember any of their names, it is the one with the blue cap) and the tutorial does not end until you learn the ball jump which is like halfway through the game
I know you couldn't quite make the 0 dodge goal in the end, but we are all still proud of you and your accomplishment. I look forward to your next video. Well done.
I don't know why i'm saying this but I'm routing dream team and some bosses without dodging are really easy and others are hard as hell (giant battles, Antasma, dreamy bowser) and For some reason Kamek. Pd:sorry for bad english I'm spanish
I have played this game like 3 times, I put countless hours grinding for the ultimate rank for bowser and the bros, And this is the first time I've seen that bowser has a "fury" mode and i was very confused xD
Same goes for basicly every Mario and Luigi game (except Paper jam) In Superstar Saga you start with Bowser, end with Bowletta In Partners in Time you start with baby Bowser, end with shrowser In dream team you start with Antasma, and She is the 2nd last boss too
You don't have to count the tutorial block due to it being required regardless, but I understand that you want to be as authentic as possible, and I respect that. But I will attempt this challenge in the remake! You can try this in Dreamteam, and possibly Paper Jam! Keep up the good work buddy!😊👍

The thing I loved most about BiS was how challenging and long it was, nothing will ever top it, the giant boss battles were amazing when first introduced (they are still great in dream team). But I think I loved it most due to the fact you can be bowser in a M&L game, and they even bring back fawful, (and yes, Ik about his cameo in partners in time).

You don't kill, you supply enough pressure to explode something into yellow and blue stars, assuming you have enough strength to deliver enough pressure, you will most likely be successful. The enemies also teleport and switch places with something that explodes into yellow and blue stars. There is also the possibility that the Bros can travel back in time, because usually you cant re-fight a boss that has the same stats. Most likely the same with the X bosses, which provides that theory. See? Simple.

BIS was my first M&L game and is still one of my favorite games ever. Played the original so many times and made so many No Damage runs, that I tried a challenge in the remake. I only leveled attack and nothing else because I could fight every enemy/boss without taking damage. xD Was a really interesting experience.

Man, I remember this fight as a kid. I had so many issues beating this game and it felt so much more difficult back then. The first boss that gave me real issues was bowser, I just couldn't deal enough damage or dodge enough attacks to do it, then one day on vacation I brute forced my way through it. When I got to dark bowser, I couldn't spam hard enough to get Fawful every time, and when I did it was just an uphill battle from there. God, good times.
oh man the fury debuff was probably my favorite thing in my first playthrough, I didn't know you could drum roll x and y to make the vacuum block stronger so I couldn't get rid of blizzard mobius' snowmen so I ended up with a fury buff and did like 1000+ damage and out damaged his healing.

I’ve been following this series since super star saga and I hope you end up doing Dream Team as well. I’ve been playing the Mario and Luigi games since I was three and after 16 years I still love them. You’ve earned my respect man cause damn these games can get a little challenging at times. I loved this game as a kid. The humour and everything, and just the right amount of difficulty IMO. This video brings back fond memories of playing it. I recall struggling the most on: 1. digesting the carrot; 2. the first fight against the blue and pink worm after the carrot; 3. the Fawful Express; 4. Blizzard Midbus; and 5. trying to suck up Fawful in the Dark Bowser fight. That one specific moment in the fight was where I kept getting screwed over because most of the time I wasn't able to get him in time. After beating the game, I made a new save file to start over again, but I was never able to beat the Fawful Express a second time. The only boss from this video that I had no recollection of was the giant Peach's Castle fight. I don't remember even doing that one.
When I played the original for the first time, I had such a hard time beating the Durmite, so I gave up. Years later I replayed it and beat the whole game with less difficulty than before. The ice midbus fight took me forever to beat, since I was always taken out by the giant Snowball, since I couldn't figure out where the bombombs were. I got the remake for my birthday and have slowly been increasing the progress.

Didn't even know Bowser just ended up being sucked up into the black hole if he died to that.
Somehow, even if the other attacks may end with someone unconscious, seeing Bowser getting sucked into a black hole is surprisingly dark.
Probably because it’s pretty easy to get out of and kinda beneficial to get sucked into since you almost get a free counter attack.

*Mental breakdown*
When I played the original for the first time, I had such a hard time beating the Durmite, so I gave up. Years later I replayed it and beat the whole game with less difficulty than before. The ice midbus fight took me forever to beat, since I was always taken out by the giant Snowball, since I couldn't figure out where the bombombs were. I got the remake for my birthday and have slowly been increasing the progress.
I love how Blizzard Midbuss has the most health out of all bosses in the game

Wow. Really good video. This video really bring me back as it was me and my brothers favorite game growing up. I feel that there are very few videos on it however unlike other Mario games

Very interesting and well made videos, the only addition you could do is a little final graphic with all boss and the ammount of dodge to get a nice visualization of all dodges.
