This is a wonderful product, great for uneven/curved surfaces or ANY surface you're working with! I checked the website shop; the pieces aren't expensive, so readily accessible for most ppl, I think. APPLIQUÉ is pronounced : APP-LI-KAY...not "app- leek". :) Your video is wonderfully instructive! I get your newsletter too; I rehab furniture both for my home & for sale. I LOVE your work!! PLEASE keep doing what you're doing~ xoxoxox A HUGE Fan :) xoxox
Thanks so much and yes, I believe applique is french so I'm sure I butchered the pronunciation... sorry about that..lol. Thanks so much and I'm so happy you've subscribed and are enjoying the tutorials. XOXO :)
Dear Madam, My warm greetings, knowing that I am impressed with the ideas you present. Thank you. I wish you success and success in my country, Tunisia. A hardworking woman, we call her a woman and half my lady. Wooden decorations are not available in my country. Could you help me to get some of these examples? Thank you very much
Hi Janet!!! I had a few designs mailed to me via Woodubend so I could give them a try but you can find a local stockist through this link here woodubend.com/find-a-stockist/
Thank you Denise for the abundant sharing of your talents . In reply to the " applique " comments ; For what it's worth : It is called ( une - f.noun ) applique in France as you pronounced it , and ( ap-li -key ) as used in English would not have an accent as I see it written in comments . ( appliqué is the adjective form in french , as : it as been applied ) . Love , my friend .
Thank you for the demonstration. I can’t believe all these comments on your pronunciation of a word. This coming from a country full of immigrants you would think they would be nicer.
It's not mean to educate someone on language skills. It's actually done in a kind manner. I haven't seen or interpreted any "meanness" in any of the corrections. Peace.
Guess you'd never heard of an appliqué before so I was sort of thrown off when you pronounced it. Other than mispronouncing it, you did and excellent job of demonstrating the product. I like it when others mess up, which shows me what not to do. Haha. Also, it shows us that none of us are perfect.
Hi Marilyn! You're not the first to mention this. Many people don't realize I'm from Toronto and I've only ever heard the French Canadian way of pronouncing it. :)
I watched your video today... beautiful! I am inspired! But I have to agree...it's not an AH-pleek.. It's ah-PLI-kay. The correct way to pronounce is from the French language.
I loved your video and how excited you got when this product started to bend.
I love that you showed this in real time. Super helpful!
I'm so glad! Thanks Sharon!
Hi Denise..I just have to say I'm So Inspired!!😊 I absolutely Love this!! Thank you for sharing this video! Keep them coming!😊🤗💕

Can you describe the paint technique for the gray over the first coat? Was the bottom coat still wet? Was it a wash?
I know you couldn't really do it in a video but you can tape it to a curved surface until it's dry. Stuff's AMAZING!
Great tip Margie... thank you!
Great video. Very informative. ❤️
Thanks, Do! XOXO

Onde comprar no Brasil?
Muito pratico!
I tried it but wouldn't bend had heat gun on 1 min. maybe because I painted one side first?
Yes exactly. I bend and cut them before painting otherwise they stiffen up.
How can use material wood paste
Hi Amit! I'm not sure what material wood paste is but if it's similar to wood glue, I'm sure it would work just fine! :)
Gluten powder flexible formula
PS..I have not started on my chair yet but I will.. 😊💕
