I subscribed! I learned a lot! Thank you, it turned out perfect!💜
Very interested in iod creations. This is pretty.
More to come!
I did learn and happy to subscribe
thank you!
Great video instruction!
Love
Great help. Thanks
Where can I find those or any large wooden pieces to glue molds onto!😊
Have you tried white or clear caulking for adhesive instead of glue. You can paint caulking also and it adheres nicely.
What type of wax do you use?
DIY Paint is what I use, the waxes are awesome! you can find them on my website www.serendipity.house
I warm up my clay and it gets dryer..suggestions
Thank you so much for a great tutorial. I learned so much after struggling with buckling and shrinkage. Very helpful to someone new to this.
I'm so glad! thanks for the comment 💙
I’ve been applying moulds on furniture for a year. I thought I was knew what I was doing. The tips you gave were eye opening. Especially the one about looking out for places that it did not stick. Thank you! Just subscribed.
I love et four years later.
I just bought some IOD Air dry clay for the first time, Fushion mineral chalk paint and black wax.
I'm New to this craft
Great video...

I know you did this video years ago, and I think this is the one I watched when I first started using IOD products.....I never had cracking until I started watching other artists telling us not to over do the glue,.......paint before attaching.....etc. I'm going back to doing it the way I learned from you!! Thank you
This is very helpful to know how to use clay for moldings before I get too deep into doing things wrong. This inspires me to try again and have fun using furniture appliques on furniture. I am new to your channel and found your advice on this subject of great value! Thank you.

hello there and thank you for the video..unfortunately 'Buy Clay here' link do not bringing to the clay! can you please check and redirect for us. txs!
When you press the clay to make sure it’s touching don’t you flatten the actual design out?
Great video ! What kind of clay ( brand ) are you using ?
Thank you! What kind of glue or what would you use to put it in canvas? 😊
I love it! Great instructions! I have been working with these molds for a while, always learning something new!
clay has been incredibly hard for me to use and get good results. I prefer 1:1 resin.
Best video on IOD moulds! I love the insight of turning it!!! And how to deal with cracks! THIS IS SO GOOD! Thank you!❤
Excellent work, and thanks so much for the tips & demonstration. Extremely helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
What is the brand of clay you used please??
Why air dry clay and not fimo or polymer? What's the preference
Absolutely gorgeous. I am just starting to play with and order IOD products. I love your teaching skills and subsumed so I can see what other lovely things you have made and yet to make. Thank you so much for sharing.
Awesome! Thank you!
Loved your tutorial, very inspired to try. Just not sure which is better..clay or plaster of paris?.. I have loads of cake decorating silicone moulds...may I ask why you use clay & not another medium?
Many thanks
Catherine
I prefer the Clay because it’s easy to use and I like the aged look it gives. I have never used plaster if Paris??? There are other air dry clays on the market and quick set result you can use also.
Thank you, nice video
Your tutorials are always perfection. Thank you❤️❤️❤️
Lovely
Can you let dry then glue
Great tip about freezing moulds temporarily! I often do batches of moulds for projects and this would save rushing to apply/glue them before they dry out. Thanks x
Yes! Great time saver
Where can we buy molds like these
serendipity.house/collections/iron-orchid-designs-moulds
Could of pushed the other side all the way to the corner of the pointed edge an extra inch way would had matched perfectly instead of having to cut off alot off from the other end.
Ty I have a bunch of air dry clay and nice molds. I wasn't sure if I left to dry in Mold and didn't wanna ruin things.
Finally! I must have watched five other videos before finding yours and finally learning how to do it. Your project looks beautiful and I’m looking forward to learning some more from you.
Glad it was helpful!
Your a wonderful teacher, what clay are you using, brand
great video- thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Awesome tutorial thank you so much I'm looking forward in purchasing these moulds.
But question though how much wood something like that sell for.
Fab project. Thank you. Una . 👏👏👏👏💕🇮🇪
11:02 you got a chuckle outta me 😄 Great video. Thanks!
Hi, I just found your channel, and I love it. Thanks for all the details.
Thanks for subscribing! ❤️
These are so beautiful Michelle!!💜💜💜 Tfs
Molds are new to me. You make it look so easy. Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome. It takes practice, maybe, but it IS easy 😊
Really great job!!
Good job
looks great
How hard to remove if your not happy with your finished project?
If you use a good glue- I’ve had to chisel off before. 😜
Absolutely beautiful thx
I revisit this video from time to time. Such great information. Thank you Michelle.
Really? That’s awesome! Thanks for telling me! 🥰
I LOVE THIS 😮😍
Thank you. I learned a lot
great tip to check edges
Just found you, new sub!

Beautiful beautiful
Can I use a different glue? And thank you for the great tutorial.
Yes of course!
Me gustó mucho , pero necesito traducción
I wonder if there is something I can add my video to translate? I will need to look into that. Thanks for the feedback
Fabulous !! ❤️🤍🖤
Very nice!!
Thank you so much for helping me figure out clay. I love the look of it so much but I have struggled, now I feel like I have learned enough to get it out again and have a good time without frustration.
Great tutorial; thanks!
Thanks!
@@serendipityhousellc To be clearer, on second thought, your work is upside down.
I realize this is an old video, but I just found it. I noticed why the top of your mold broke off during the release: it wasn’t floured. Go back and watch and you’ll see.
wow. thanks for the catch! Guess that's a great example of why you need to dust the mould really well!
what glues can you use with air dry clay ??
just about anything works, depends on your surface. I use Titebond because I'm usually attaching to wood and think its the best.
