Does the pie crust have to be any particular thickness to use in the molds and I'm also wondering if it should be chilled prior to applying to the mold?

Did you happen to use fresh cut flowers or are those faux flowers? And I have found that if you put clear glaze over the top of the frosted area, it becomes translucent.

Think the Chocolate needed to be tempered before you put it in the bag. That would've given you a glossy finish. If you do it again try pouring the chocolate on the counter, spread it out and then bring it back together, do this a few times, this will temper the Chocolate. Now you can put it in the bags to fill your moulds, you will then have a glossy finish, I love working with Chocolate. Love your idea of putting it on the biscuits, will give this ago.

If you use a gloss clear coat over the top of the clear resin clothes (on the front of them) the resin will actually turn completely translucent & will not be cloudy at all 😊❤

If you paint over your clear resin after it's set with clear varnish it will make the close look clear

Looks beautiful I hope you have better luck than me. I did a river table with lights in resin and 2 years later mine quit now I have a table I can see nonworking lights in. I was so disappointed I thought they would last longer. But it was beautiful while it lasted.
