On those finer molds I use paper clay and pop it in the freezer for a few minutes then it’s so easy to get even filigree designs come out whole and beautiful! Works like a charm!
Brandy is my favorite:) I love your personality and how you can sure make everything look fun! I was wondering how to make these flowers. And didn’t know where to start. Thank you!! God bless your heart!
Thank you. I tried the hot glue method, but wasn't super happy with it, perhaps my glue gun is not a super hot one. I like clay and have been 95% happy with clay but have ordered the resin too, so I am looking forward to trying it out. Cheers for your video keep up the great work. Oh, I have subscribed too.
You aren’t kidding about the need to work quickly. I bought amazing casting resin, mixed a and b in a cup, stirred 30 seconds and started to pour. Well, it was like a magic illusion in the movies next watching it turn white from mold to the resin being poured out of the cup almost instantly. I was able to pour 1 and 1-1/2 little roses and make a resin cast that looks like it belongs in a Dr. Seuss book to boot. Wish I could share a picture. It was a cool low 90’s outside that day. Maybe a bit too warm for resin working. Next time I used a tiny amount about 5-10ml and stirred about 5 seconds before I saw a tinge of white and immediately started pouring. Success.
Resin is definitely the way to go. The glue takes too long and the chances of air bubbles are more likely than the resin. The clay is tedious and not as flexible as the resin. Thanks for a great instructive video !!
Your work is amazing....love your video's and tutorials! Have learned alot! I was wondering if you could tell me where I could find transfers with a metaphysical vibe, such as moons, dragons, crystals, spirit animals, goddess, pentacle, and other wiccan symbolism? I don't see too much on redesign with prima and wondered if there was another company that does this kinda thing??? thanks so much in advance!
I've used hot glue and clay. I like using the hot glue when I need to put the moulds on metal. Because clay is such a temperamental medium, I only use it on wood and glass. I've just recently started using po,there clay, to make jewelry with. I'm happy so far! I don't like the look of the hot glue......it tends to look bumpy, unfinished. Then I would melt little pieces off....just not happy with it. .
I have purchased some of the molds. I have a project that would require the mold to sit in a curved surfaces. What would be the best molding materials to use?
Hello, Amazing cast resin is very popular or you can also use Modeling clay which we carry. If you are using amazing cast resin and remove it from the mould before it gets too hard if it does you can use a heat gun to soften it up that way you can glue it on to the furniture :)
what if the best type of glue to use when gluing it on a piece of furniture? And is it better to glue the pieces before priming and painting the furniture piece??
Hello, some of our brand ambassadors use Gorilla Glue hot glue and others use wood glue. The Gorilla Glue hot glue has the benefit of adhering quickly. You can glue before or after painting and priming. It really depends on the look you are going for. If the moulds will be the same color as your piece then panting after can help it blend better but if you want your moulds to be a different color then panting the moulds and furniture separately will probably be easier. You can always create a few test moulds and try on a scrap piece of wood to see what creates the effect you are going for. Happy creating! 😊
Resin is a chemical that needs to be handled carefully. We recommend always using gloves and a respirator when working with any resin. And the area needs to be well ventilated. Maybe you could try another alternative for the moulds such as air dry clay, glue gun or modeling material.

Brandy, I am new to all this , I live in Australia, and was wondering if you could please give me the names of the resin in the larger bottles and clay , that you use please as I am finding it hard to find all these things. I have used a hot glue gun but unfortunately mine didn’t turn out good at all . I was very disappointed in myself.
Mal, mal, mal. La silicona nunca te va a dar la textura perfecta, la pasta prima no es lo mejor que he conocido ni mucho menos. Los moldes son muy buenos, y todavía no he probado las resinas.
You are a wonderful teacher. You explain everything so beautifully. Thank you so much. I learn something new from you every time.

Ohh, I bought some amazing casting resin. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Where do you buy your gallon resin ? Love this video and love your work. Have a blessed day 💞
You can put the hot glue back in the mold and heat it with a heat gun to reheat the glue. That will fix the bad spots.

Do you know if that resin is non toxic? Unfortunately, I react pretty bad to chemicals

I can not find the tub of the modeling material anywhere. Any suggestions?
where do you go to buy the gallon size and is it a different name? I havnt been able to find
Can you use plaster of paris in these molds?
Yes
Is this resin flexible at all, so it can be applied on curved pieces?
If you remold it right after it cures it’s flexible. If you want to make it flexible at a later time use the heat of a hair dryer.
I meant unmold
I think the glue is pretty difficult to work with for me
