@jaguaruk I'm shopping for an F Pace in Beijing and found that the F paces in China have no rear AC controls, no heated steering wheels, No Head-Up displays, No wireless charging, No black external paint not even on the SE. I've been to 3 dealerships in Beijing and was told that same story. In fact because of the lack of these creature comforts the jaguar F pace isn't considered a suitable competitor to the GLC in China, but will still buy it in the coming weeks. Please update your inventory.
Have you got the car ? I’m in Shanghai and indeed for me as well the fundamental feature is head-up displays. I have preordered one with 3.0 in-line six mhev, black external paint, black pack, HUD, heated steering wheels. Hopefully it will arrive within this year!
@@uncois Oh yes, I finally bought one, with a black exterior, and brown interior, I've had it for a couple of months, there are a few things that leave a salty taste in my mouth. The annoying start stop has to be switched off each time you start the car and each time you change modes. If you change from comfort to sport at any time during your drive, the start-stop will automatically be switched on, and you have to go back again and turn it off. Also cant set a default driving mode, so if you prefer to drive in sport, you will always have to change the mode to the sport each time you start the car. These don't sound like big things but when you have to repeat these actions multiple times a day, it gets tiring sometimes. I',m looking to change the car immediately I have the chance, recently went to inspect the new range rover vogue, and I think at 150W will wait a few months hopefully it drops to 120W, then i can order one.
@@princeateb3473 oh to switch off the auto start/stop after change mode is quite annoying.. especially today you can only do it via the touch screen. of course if you can afford a range rover vogue that's a great car , do you need a chauffeur by any chance ? this is a car more for the boss backseat right?
@@uncois I like to drive myself so wouldn't require a chauffeur. the start-stop problems still exist in the new range rover too, only they moved it from the settings page on the right lower corner of the screen to the left "quick links' pane which I believe should make it easier to access, plus the drive mode now has an "auto" function where the car should supposedly automatically select the driving mode. Not quite sure how i feel about that. But yeah, if @jaguaruk could fix these with a software update, that would really be great otherwise I don't see myself owning the f-pace for more than 1 year or two. You will see what i mean when you get yours.
I don't know if I like Jaguar because of the name, but I like Jaguar. I like the design like Jaguar 2009 xj. The front view is perfect. The 2009 xj is a design that overwhelms Ferrari. The xj13 is more perfect than Ferrari. But I think it's better to show the old design again. Now, 2020's Jaguar sports cars are fine. It seems to have fallen off a lot. Because the design is not good. Just saying good things does not help the brand. I wish Jaguar well. I really like the Jaguar brand. While making sports cars like xj13 The sedan has the front of the old x-type Keep the design as it is. It has a dodge-like front shape with 4 lights. It's really cool. If there is a gear stick, it is Ferrari level. I support Jaguar. Make a real design well and succeed in 2022. It is a similar level brand to Ferrari in the past.
When I took delivery of my new f pace r dynamic s in Kolkata, India 2 wks ago, I noticed and pointed out then n then that the wireless Android auto was not working. More over, the name of OS and installation date was blank. I was told that the software will be updated. After a week, the wireless Android Auto was still not working and I have to drive the car to the dealer's workshop. Imagine that a new car has to be sent back to the workshop within a week. What an irritation and disappointment. At the workshop no one had any clue as to why the wireless Android auto is not working and why the name of OS and the installation date are both blank and not appearing on the screen. The dealer emailed JLR and two days later they received and installed the software from JLR London. Now the wireless Android auto is working. However, the name of OS 3.0.0 and the installation date are still not showing in the screen as it was showing in the demo car.. The dealer keep telling that I wait for next update. I know the dealer is making excuse. Could I get solution from JLR to make the OS 3.0.0. and the installation date appear in pivi pro screen for which I shall be v grateful shall b very grateful. Sorry to say that this defect/problem is not good for such a prestigious brand.
I bought one about five months ago. Unfortunately, it is still bad and has many faults, its engine sound is very loud, and its performance is modest. I have a Golf 7 for daily use, I find it better and quieter on the road and responds better to acceleration. Advice to everyone, do not throw your money for this company

Software engineers…is not a strong profession in Europe.. maybe due to the salary the best coder generally go to the west coast of USA.
