Hey george! I know it's a year late but glad to see you doing some exposure therapy! I've had agoraphobia twice now. Got over it the first time and relapsed now about 3years later! Started doing my exposure therapy again because I know it works wonders! Even walking outside is a trigger now, but I know me and everyone else can do it no matter how hard and long the climb is! Thanks for sharing your story!

After 7 years I finally decided to start exposure therapy I’m scared about it. And scared about relapsing also..

@@yeahdrew6083 it will be ok. The more and more you do it the less and less it will bother you. The first time will be so terrible but as time goes bye the mind will be numb to those situations and you will be able to do it no problem! Good luck with your journey, let me know how it goes!

I was so with you on that one! The grocery was my biggest challenge for years - I would have such horrendous anxiety attacks that I would actually fall on all fours in the parking lot . . . but you are right, there was always some stranger who would come running to help. I always had to make up some lie like ankle sprain, vertigo - very lame and I know they knew. But George, I will tell you something only you and those like us will not find odd or surprising at all - I am a competitive amateur cyclist and ride many miles five to six days a week. What you are doing is exactly the right thing for you and the anxiety will fade. You will always remember it but it will seem very odd that it ever happened.

Robb Isn’t it always the way that humanity is made out to be something horrendous by the media because it’s what sells stories. In actual fact through mine and yours own experiences we know people are good and it’s a very very small percent of people that would ever walk past someone struggling or judge them negatively. Reading your comment is inspiring and that level of freedom feels so close I could taste it. So happy to hear success stories like this. Thanks for sharing Robb

Thank you so much for doing this. This is such a big help for me. People don't understand how it feels to need to to live life, but feel so affected by agoraphobia and social anxiety. I LOVE your videos. Thanks bud!

Mr. Mystique You’re totally right man, it’s something you can only ever understand once you’ve experienced it yourself. Wouldn’t wish it upon my worst enemy, but sometimes wish everyone around me understood a little more. I’ll keep making the videos and hopefully help more people. Thanks for the encouragement! Keep fighting the fight.
