I fell in love with The Fixx in 1982 as an American exchange student in Germany. Shuttered Room had been released in Europe and it was mind-blowing. They've been my #1 band ever since and thankfully my wife and I saw them live last October in Omaha on their USA tour - my second time seeing them live. Most innovative band.
Just saw the Fixx tonight in Kent, OH. Sadly, they didn't play this tune - one of my favorites - but they still sing and play fantastically well. Probably my favorite 'old' band to see, if not one of my favorite bands.
Back before the world went utterly mad ,what I'd give to go back in time even 10 years...... Wonderful song ,so moving, melancholic and nostalgic. I love this band they are exceptional songwriters!

The fixx is one band that wont be pigeon holed, a sound of there very own, original i enjoy the fixx music for many moons, bought this cd, its another set that satisfies, when one thing leads to another, work= missed show, im calling out, no exceptions now, 2018 tour, ill be expecting to see it.
Music is spot on any place you go on this site BUT.....this site has cost me a great deal of money running my very expensive vintage stereo eqpt. Because of that gd. Friggin buffering or what ever they call it !!!!! My stereo. has 1900 wpc.

The Fixx has such amazing atmosphere generated in that electronica component. I have always loved their classic rock with the keyboards.

Macker Maldrill. According to Google band debut u2 was 1976 and fixx was 1980. I was wrong on timeframe.
