Love this car so much just because they don’t throw 5 cylinder engines into any cars any more unless they are performance oriented and these 2.5s can take a lil boost
@ I found out mine did the same thing I could see it falling out of the hole when ur stearing wheel isn’t locked I would put a flashlight and check inside of it but yea that’s what my issue was it just got unplugged
@@DArias I got the IE stage 1 in my passat and now that I found out about revmap I feel like I got the short end of the stick. It’s not a bad tune but it was hella money.
Btw the owner told me privately that the 93 tune adds about 15 whp so I’m sure since I’m only on 87 rn that it probably only picked up about 5-10 whp but I already have an intake and exhaust so I’m sure that helps
Rn for me it’s the smoothness that the car has with the tune. You can notice the power more toward the top end imo def doesn’t fall on its face as hard as before haha. Tbh for $350 (this including add ons) you really can’t beat it
Unfortunately I haven’t come across any lately, but there have been some kits that have popped up over the years. You have to piece together a custom kit

Definitely sold on this tune now. Is the rev hang like completely gone? The only thing i hate about driving my Rabbit is the slow shifting. Also my Rabbit has launch control stock it auto holds it around 3k rpms with clutch in and 1st gear weird lol
You sure the car isn’t tuned? Haha I know the stock tune has a governor that it won’t let you pass like 3500 or 4k while stopped but it’s more an rpm limit from factory. The rev hang is 100% gone. Like you shift and let off the clutch your rpm’s will drop immediately. I actually had to get used to it because these cars between each gear like to drop rpm slow so when I would shift it would be kinda jerky with how quickly the rpm’s would drop. I actually had Jason add a tiny bit of rev hang to my tune to make it a bit smoother for me haha
@DArias no definitely not tuned I think it has a factory launch control and have a bunch of rev hang so definitely stock lol. Hoping to get in contact with Jason soon to get this tune. We gotta have a slow 07K onlys meet up you're right in my neighborhood lol

Looking into a tune by him currently, i mainly say the limiter raise to 7800 and wanna go for it

Good stuff!! I also just got an 91 octane tune. My car is an auto. But it’s definitely a smoother ride.
I just got my Passat tuned and I shaved off a full second on my 0-60 just on 87 octane, I was 8.7 seconds before and now I’m 7.7

Nice man! Jason has been awesome to work with. You can def feel the difference in the top end imo. The drivability however is SO MUCH BETTER
I can confirm the 93 octane tune, along with the auto trans tune, makes these cars rip pretty well!
