Thanks for your video I'm owner of mk6 jetta 2.5 5cil engine, and OH MAN what sensation of Throttle responsivness specially short distances on traffic is super agile car!! Can't wait to buy some aftermarket mods like IE stage 1, SPA Intake, air cold intake, etc. What do you know about if you install turbo kit engine brake because some components are not forged?

Just bought an 07 Rabbit 2.5 Auto with 101k for $3,000.. No CEL and drives straight as an arrow.. It already has the Mk5 Jetta front bumper.. I'm in love with it. It reminds me of my mk2 Jetta in how it feels driving..

For me I think it’s more the simplicity of it all. A car that just works and you can play along with for the low low

There’s such a big aftermarket that you can go in so many different directions. Def a big benefit

Great video. I am a long time VW owner. I took the advice of someone and recently bought a MK6 Golf 2.5...my first. I love the sound. I've done some work to it and it wasn't to difficult or expensive. Shout out to NJ. I commute along a similar route every day(I knew where you were immediately by the road signs😂)

Thank you for showing what the 5th gear highway drone is like with that catback. I'll have to go and take a similar drive on rt 21 and see how it compares to my exhaust set up again lol

Hoping you go the turbo route. Literally cannot beat a turbo 5

That’s absolutely my plan. I have a few more mods that just came in for the car that I’ll be throwing on for some fun in the mean time soon!

Wish Volkswagen would bring back the TDI..
Yeah... Yeah the so called scandal.
I had a TDI owner at that time and in Canada we had the drive clean emissions testing. And that VW was blowing clean
California emission levels. At the Toronto Auto Show there were a few hundred TDI owners and tthey spoke about the so called scandal and we all experienced tthe same results and we've got the testing results printed and email.
I drove tthat car from Toronto to Tampa with only 2.5 refueling. 1225kms per tank.
2 years later some lady not looking where she's going finished that car it was a 2006. Written off 2014.
    The engine still started.
Long story short there seems to be something fishy. But VW usually make solid cars. I'll take that 5 cyl for a run.

You’re not wrong! The TDIs were fantastic. It’s a shame tbh. Between the reliability and the mpgs it’s tough to beat. After the fix a lot of the cars just weren’t the same. It’s unfortunate and sucks. They still had all emissions in tact so it’s weird how regardless of software it would be blowing “dirty”
