@@alexhaugen7530 I’d say I’d probably going for an f30 thou. It’s the same interior across all cars. I’d say the biggest thing an f30 has is eco mode for daily driving.

My ( E90 ) 3 series came with a CCC from Factory, the screen after 17 years is almost dead, at this time, i see there are so many choices out there, if this the current best choice right now, any suggestions please ?
I have installed the aux Bluetooth dongle, will my Bluetooth still work with this unit? It replaces the original aux input on the wiring loom.

Recently my original ccc has been stuck on the bmw logo when it turns on and I was thinking of just replacing it with the apple car play but I’m assuming the old ccc has to work in order for the new one to function properly correct??

You should code the mpg gauge with perfekt toolbox to show oil temp. Dumb decision by BMW for leaving it out on the N52 sedans.

+1 on the CarPlay! I did CIC Retrofit and CarPlay box in my 06 325i and it modernizes it completely. Let me know if you need help fixing or coding the adaptive headlights!

I am interested in getting this for my e90, one questions, when in Android Auto mode, as it used the AUX, can I have the OEM RADIO still playing, and have Google Maps voice over the OEM Radio, or when switching to Andriod Auto does it cut off the OEM Sounds?

For the CCC UNIT, Do you need to route the AUX cord to center console? Or just moving the fiber optic cable would do? Because from what I know you do need to route the AUX to center console for the CIC! So I imagine you probably have to do the same for CCCs
It depends, some CCC units will work without the AUX cable, you just need to try it when installing!

How is the audio quality for music? I've been doing a ton of research on upgrades and forum posts say the android units sound bad because they need to go through aux, and the units like mr12volt sound good because they use the fiber cable from the cd player. The issue with the mr12volt unit upgrade on a ccc car is the stock resolution is bad so you need a full cic retrofit to make it good. Trying to figure out which to go with

Great video. Just installed this and my drive controller doesn’t work to navigate through CarPlay and the audio seems really distorted and intermittently stops coming out one side. Any ideas? Also did you ever sort the zoomed in screen?

can you please help me! I plugged everything in and it worked, when I went to reroute my wires the screen wont come back on now... idk why. couldnt fit the fucking quadlock still but the screen fucked now i plugin the oem screen and its just flashes and goes black

No wire to the aux input. Just attached all wires in the rear properly

Hi I just want to ask how mang mileages on ur old 435i when u sell it? Any problem so far with it? I'm thinking about to get a 435i cause 430i with b48 is too expensive for me rn.
Would really recommend skipping the 435i and going to 440 b58. If you can’t afford it hold off a little bit bc it is absolutely worth it.
That's too expensive for me rn. How about 428 or 440i? 440i is still over 34k rn if it came with m package
@@philpham2069 i see. Unless you absolutely need a car right now I would hold off. A 428i not worth it. The 440i has over 100 more hp and tq with the same reliability. Few mods on the 440 and you’ll be at 500hp. I’d recommend you wait on spending all that money on a 428i bc in the long run or a year from now you’ll regret it and wished you had saved up for the 440 just a little longer. It happened to me, I was lucky enough to be able to get out of my payments and into a 440

@@philpham2069 All depends on maintenance with those 335i. Around 70/100k is when everything breaks so if the previous owner didn’t do any maintenance you’ll be looking at a headache. I would stay away if no records of anything. But again I would jumó straight into the 440i b58. I went from a 2012 335i to 2016 328i. I regretted it bc the difference is night and day. Was used to my fast but unreliable 335i to a more reliable but less fun 328. Went back to dealership and got myself into a 2018 440i. Night and day difference even compared to the 335i. I’m lucky enough to be able to afford to do all that so depends on finances but if you’re already saving up and close just hold off for a little and go for the 440 so you have no regrets.

Hi no you don’t need to use the AUX cable, I’ve just fitted mine and on this video he shows you the 2 green wires from the OEM block into the new block, do this it’s just plug and play and no need for AUX 👍🏼
BUT when you turn the system on, go on the factory screen by holding the menu button and choose AUX then go back into CarPlay and all your music works without an actual AUX cable, hope this helps
