That's awesome to hear you're in good health and riding at 50 years young! Javier told me that he isn't interested in curtailing the cheating for selfish reasons. He just sees it as a necessary step for to grow Onewheel as a sport. He's such a great ambassador for Onewheel and a leader in our DC rider community. Javier might not see this comment but thanks for the shoe recommendation. I tried regular Nike, foot hurts, someone recommended Supra. Better but foot still hurt after awhile. Now I got the Nike Air Force 1 SF Mid Black Gum version cause don't like high tops to much. These are awesome! I can ride all day now. Look out might catch up to u on miles 😅😅😅
The warped streets are dangerous! I scraped my elbow and bruised my hip on a fairly low speed crash just because a warped section of the street caught me off guard.
Finally got a gauge and a pump, noticed I was at 17.5 PSI, cranked it up to 22.5 and it's a whole new world. I think I'm a high-PSI kinda guy, gonna start pushing 25 next 🤙
@@followdon defo feels like there's less strain on the motor and, instead of dipping into every little rut in the road, it's bouncing over most of it giving me a much smoother ride at high speed

Personally, I think the XR still has its place. Maybe I’ll feel differently after the GT launches. I’d much rather FM kills the original Pint. It would unite the community better because range and speed wouldn’t be an obstacle for connecting on group rides. Perhaps this is an unpopular opinion, but I think the Pint divided the community a bit. This is coming from someone whose first board was the Pint. I put more than 2,300 miles on the board before upgrading to the XR.
Let me tell u something bro.. This guy Javier is INSPIRATION! I wear Converse shoes, gloves, backpack glasses n helmet ect... But that backpack is fly af..what kind is that?
1. Ability to lock/unlock board with a pin#. 2. Brighter headlights or high beam option - they don't really show up during sundown or on shady tree lined streets.
@@amandao.8043 I like that security feature idea a lot! Also, yes to the headlights/high beam feature! That would be so clutch for night rides. If one day I can stop carrying a flashlight, that would be major.
There is HUGE opportunity for a Future Motion version of a battery extender! I 100% agree with you! A bigger front footpad is also an interesting idea.

Dope! I weigh 230 lbs, so I tend to keep my PSI around 24.5. It definitely changes the ride feel! Glad you gave it a try!
