another trick to seeing the shape through the paper is turning off all the lights. when your cell phone is the brightest light source, it won't have to compete with light that is reflecting off the top of the paper from other light sources in the room.

Omg these r 🔥🔥🔥. I think i got the prep down. Nervous about using the sandpaper cause i don't wanna over sand so i do i make sure it sanded enough. Also with synthetic leather i see u use adhesion promoter, do i need that with af1 leather. Thanks for hearing me out.

I have some orders for cleats and basketball shoes with synthetic uppers. If I use adhesion promoter and prep correctly will there be any durability concerns? Worried to take on orders if I'm not confident in the durability.

This custom is tuff good work 💪..... What's the best transfer paper for bumpy surfaces, as far as mesh material, glitter finish ? Not too strong so it doesn't release the stencil

Which brand of vinyl do you use and what settings do you use on the Cameo?
I was using Oramask 810 stencil vinyl and I found that it was not really sticky enough and I also had a very hard time weeding my design. I cut it using Blade:1 Speed:5 and Thickness:10.

Yeah using a high grit of sandpaper is an extra step that can help with the overall durability but is not required for air force 1s. The most important step is to prep the surface with acetone or our Leather Preparer and Deglazer before applying paint. If I’m gonna paint onto the sneaker with paint brushes, do I still need to use a paint 2 thin, to make paint thinner

Have you had good experience with TCP global airbrush kits, which are $139 and far less than the $400 Grex? It got decent reviews on amazon and I'm not going doing heavy usage. Just periodic projects, maybe use it 3-6 times a year. Grex seems to be an excellent brand but not sure if I should spend $400 for limited use. Worth it?
Sorry we don't have any experience with TCP however based on your usage and the reviews on it, it seems like it may be a good choice for you. We suggest doing as much research as you can and do what feels right. Hope it works out for you.

can I use 2 thin or water instead of 2 soft to make the paints softer?
If the fabric is white then yes you can use some water. We usually show 2-soft because it will work on any colors as well while keeping the product nice and soft after heat set.

The SEM adhesion promoter is only one time application after one layer of paint? Then I can apply my other layer of paint with out applying anymore of SEM adhesion promoter.?
Yes only 1 layer but 1-2 coats before you apply the paint.

Not sure of the exact brand but It's just the basic materials you would find at any art/crafts store.

Are you referring to the stencil vinyl? You would want to get some 651 Oracle vinyl. It works best.

Do i need to use the sand paper and adhesion promoter for real leather?
No it is not required. For real leather, the only absolute, required step is to remove the factory finish by using acetone or our Leather Preparer and Deglazer.

But the problem i find with tracing off my phone is that I always end up moving the screen or resizing by accident. I cant use my laptop either as thats a touch screen also, any way around this?

Angelus 2 hard for painting the TPU heel of the Romaleos?
It may hold up okay but ultimately it may be something you will need to experiment with. You may need to do some light sanding, add a couple of coats of adhesion promoter along with light coats of paint and 2-Hard.

Adheison Promoter is from SEM.

Hey there! The finisher is not necessary, the prepping is. As long as you are prepping correctly the paint will not come off.
What brand of adhesion promoter is used?
We recommend SEM or Bulldog.
