For those that are here for a quick refresher:
1:03 - Circular
1:52 - Oval
2:43 - Square/Rectangle
3:48 - Vertical Lines
4:23 - Horizontal Lines
4:51 - Angled Lines
5:25 - Curved Lines
5:47 - How do I apply this?
as a graphic design student i realized that i've made a lot of those decisions intuitive, which of course isn't a bad thing at all. i guess it just happens while sketching because that's when you bring all your associations in. very interesting though to see what's going on subconsciously☺️👍🏻
I know it's 2021, but I am eternally GRATEFUL for this channel. There's a lot of valuable information and knowledge to gain from. Thank you so much!
His vids got my skills all the way right
The even more interesting is, if you apply this theory also to the typography, the font design itself, it still applies.
Fonts with round corners look more welcoming, kind, warm, as the opposite feel more energetic and cold.
A lot packed into 7 minutes. Loved it!
Very very helpful as I progress more and more into the love of logo design! Thank you as always Tom!!!
