I think literally every single thing you said I agree with. Man that was nice hearing my frustrations articulated on this one! Great video!!

      Alternate comment:
You say “hyper-violent”, I say “Mortal Kombat style!”

      Ok LAST thought
That first post credits scene was AWESOME
I found myself getting a bit emotional and hyped up watching it. Well done

💯 got emotional a few times throughout the film, especially the end credits. It’s funny because this movie was more
“Mortal Kombat” than the new MK they may several years ago haha! This will always go down as a fun watch that could’ve been a much better bandaid for phase 4-5 of the MCU than it was

Pretty much same thoughts! I'm really not a fan of multiversal storytelling, because it opens up the possibility to lazy writing and plotlines with low stakes since characters can be resurrected at will. That being said, I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a decent bit of fun watching these two team up from an entertainment standpoint alone. Great review, Michael!

Thanks Sully! I was absolutely smiling the majority of the movie. The energy when the two of them are bickering back and forth was top notch and extremely entertaining. I definitely agree that multiversal storytelling leads to a lot of soft plot lines.

Great to see you back man and can def see where your coming from with the cons i do think that the movie is very flawed but i think for me with the experience i had with the movie and as a fan of the Fox X-Men movies along with Deadpool i was able to ignore the flaws and have a really amazing time with this movie great review though man

Thanks! Excited to be back 🙂 I really love Hugh as Wolverine, even the worst of the Fox stuff I still like because of him. This is very much a fun movie, just less significant than I thought it was going to be.

Yeah I had good time but not a great time with this movie. The story was paper thin but there were a lot of laughs to be had.

Totally! I laughed a ton throughout the film but as soon as I started to try to think deeper about the story so many problems started to surface. Thanks for stopping by Kenny!

Kinda wierd that they joke about multiverse and then go full multiverse lol. I really enjoyed the film though and so did the crowd in the cinema.

I was just watching another video about how Feige never wanted this movie to happen apparently so it’s starting to make more sense haha. The theater experience was pretty fun, lots of loud laughs and cheers.

@@TheMovieMinute-wMichaelAllen yeah same, the cinema has been kinda falling off but it was almost packed for this movie so it probably does well in the box office.
