Welcome to the Heavy Spoilers show, I'm your host Paul and this video we're breaking down Deadpool And Wolverine.

The movie is now out and I thought we'd do a breakdown of every cameo in the movie. This is incase you missed some and I also wanna talk about the history behind some of the actors and their appearances.
Obviously heavy spoilers ahead so if you don't want it ruined then I recommend you turn off now. Please hit the thumbs up if you enjoy it and also don't forget to subscribe for videos like this every day.
With that out the way, thank you for clicking this now let's get into the video.

Ok so the first thing I think everyone's gonna talk about when the leave the movie is the return of Chris Evans. He has a big reveal at the mid point and also features in the films post credits scene.
Coming forth wearing red, white and blue you're expecting him to be Captain America. His arms are strapped up and I was super pumped to see Cap back. We're back. However with this being a tribute to the Fox movies he's once more playing Johnny Storm. Saying Flame on this brings things full circle from some of Fox's early iterations in the comic book genre. It was so good seeing Evans back and he got to go all out cussing out Cassandra Nova.
Cap was obviously a bit strict on his language and its great seeing the actor get to go all out with it.
Now he's not the only character returning from an early Fox film and we also have Jennifer Garner.

Come on man. The ad itself accounted for 14.58% of the video being that it was a 98-second ad on a 672-second video. Was that not enough?
Gambits running joke about him being born in the void was genius lol since his movie was cancelled. “Maybe I was born here idk” or when Elektra said “they forgot about us” and gambit says “or they never even learned about us” then she says “all the lives we’ve saved” then gambit goes “or wanted to save😔” lmao poor gambit he deserves a solo movie

That blade cameo was f***ing insane and the fact they actually had Channing Tatum as Gambit and it DELIVERED was a dream come true 😮💨. Now I really want a Gambit movie and NEED Snipes back as Blade!!!

@@marcushenley829 I lost my mind when I saw Blade. When I saw the card levitating I was like is that Bullseye? 🥴 Then I saw it was mf Gambit I damn near jumped out my seat 🤣. Gambit is one of my favorite mutants so to finally see a PROPER live portrayal of him was amazing
I also love how they obliquely referenced Reynolds Co starring in Blade 3 with Snipes, which by most accounts Snipes was kind of a miserable SOB on set, him and Reynolds did not get along at all. They even cheekily reference it in their dialogue to each other 😂
And yeah I was so surprised at the Gambit Cameo, I thought for sure they would play it for a joke and he'd be killed off in minutes, but goddamn, he actually got to kick ass in that 90s comic style, good for him 👍🏽

I think neither delivered on the multiverse aspect and what it means going forward.
I mean come on, they should have let us said goodbye to the X-men we loved. I would loved to have cameos of Halle Berry, James Marsden, Patrick Stewart, James Mcavoy...if they could get Snipes and Evans to come, they could have gotten some old X-Men cast

No cameo will beat Wesley Snipes coming back as Blade, I never in a million years thought we'd ever see him as Blade again and getting that just made my whole year. I'm still gushing about that one.

The cameos with Henry Cavill as Wolverine variant, Chris Evans as Johnny Storm aka Human Torch, Wesley Snipes as Blade sharing scenes with Ryan Reynolds just awesome and the joke of him not like Reynolds due to the BTS drama with Blade: Trinity is hilarious. No stand-in actor it's Snipes sharing scenes with Reynolds.
Wade, “who is your dialect coach, the minions?” 😂
Matthew McConaughey was Cowboy Deadpool and Nathan Fillion was Headpool.

That 90's big hair Wolverine is actually Wolverine from the Age of Apocalypse story which is a time line altered by the death of Charles Xavier before he founded the X-Men. It is a significant story.
I literally yelled “FUCK YES!” twice in the theater during this film. Once at the Age of Apocalypse version and then when he put on the cowl

This movie seriously needs an alternate extended cut of this film because the alternate scenes we saw in the trailer didn't make the final cut of the film.
All the other Deadpool movies have gotten extended cuts, so I think this one will get it too

@@TheYungMD the whole Paul Rudd finally aged if you look at the trailer he says when he and Wolverine are walking looking towards the skull. It's different in the film where when they are captured he says that line in the film, the Pyro scene god that makes me feel good dialogue we didn't see that in the film but shown in the trailer.
@@TheYungMDthe Hunter B-15 spot that was shown last week with her saying I need to show you something big etc was not shown in the film when I saw it yesterday in theatres. They showed a different scene with Hunter B-15.

I know that they already had a lot of cameos in this film, but it would have been really cool to see Ghost Rider make a cameo in this film.
My fav cameo was when Chris Evan showed up. For few seconds I thought he's playing Cap but as soon as he said the catchphrase the whole theater exploded with cheers. And of course Blade was amazing. God it made me miss the early 2000s era of superhero movies. ❤

@@edkwon Yeah, that was hilarious. 😄 There was so many jokes and references but my money goes to the one with Happy at the beginning: "What is your superpower? Parallel park?!" That made me rolling over my seat. 🤣😂
I had a chuckle at every cameo, but I was such a Blade fan - I yelled WHAAA?????!!!!! when he popped on screen. Probably my favorite.

The BLOB cameo. He was in the cage during the mad max scene. Usually when you have TOAD the BLOB is nearby.
While Wolverine did first appear in Incredible Hulk 180-181, the scene is pulled from Incredible Hulk 340. The reflection of the hulk on wolverine’s claws is from the cover of that issue drawn by Todd McFarlane.

@@Collect2Disconnect I think he just referenced that it was John Byrne’s costume Logan was wearing. But, Ryan Reynolds delivers his lines so quick sometimes that I could have missed a specific issue reference.
Anatomically correct Logan was the one Cameo that made me literally spit out my drink in the theater 🤣🤣🤣
Listening to Channing Tatum try the Cajun accent and the jokes along with it, made the movie for me.

Wlesh deadpool is actually Paul Mullin, one of Wrexhams players, and Ollie Palmer (Another Wrexham player) is in the bar when Deadpool picks up Wolverine.

I loved that the cameos weren’t all fan service. Gambit’s fight sequence was good. Blade got to do cool Blade shit. Elektra was whooping ass too. And then the Cavilrine! 😂
As many people have said - this was the Multiverse of Madness we needed.
I like how Deadpool keeps looking at Chris Evans while he's talking like "Cap doesn't talk like that" giving us a bit of a heads up that it wasn't Captain America.
MOM needed these types of cameos. Really lean into the multiverse craziness.
The Slots Lights guy gameo was crazy.

Johnny Storm was a pleasant surprise. We all heard the rumors but I was still shocked to see him reprise that role. I just wished we saw him kick some ass but it was still awesome!
Loved the homage of Henry “reloading” his fists in the mission impossible film
- Seeing Snipes On The Big Screen Again Was CRAZY. The WHOLE Auditorium I Was In Went WILD. Knowing The History He’s Had With Marvel & Knowing What Happened, They Did Him Justice. Just Like Elektra Said In The Movie “We Get Our Ending” Shit Was Well Deserved.
Every time Channing Tatum spoke in his Cajun accent, I died with laughter. I couldn’t hold myself 😂😂😂. I want the blooper reel when it comes out 😂
Channing’s accent creased me up. It was reminiscent of Benicio Del Toro in ‘The Usual Suspects’, except Deadpool nailed it when he asks Gambit ‘who the fuck was your dialect coach’!🤨😅✌️
No mention of the Thor cameo
I think that was reused footage and he wasn’t actually in the movie filming new scenes

Aside from being one of the best marvel movies in my opinion, another thing that makes this movie great is how much of a break this is from other low quality marvel films. You can really tell Ryan and his team put in a lot of effort into this and it played out very well, exceeding everyone’s expectations.
Chris Evans cameo has prolly got to be top 3 best cameos of all time in mcu
Definitely, the fact that they brought him back as Johnny made it better
When he's gonna say his catch phrase and deadpools sad it wasn't cap 😂
This film's success proves 'continuity homework' isn't the issue with the MCU. After all, this film needs you to be familiar with:
- Deadpool 1 & 2
- Logan
- The original X-Men trilogy
- Loki
- Daredevil
- Blade
And that's leaving out the smaller easter eggs like references to Iron Man's fate, the Punisher, and obviously the comics, and the reasons behind Cavill and Tatum's cameos

Juggernaut can't be stopped when running, he got his legs cut by adamantium while standing still... His mutant variant, not his empowered by a mystical crystal variant... I'm not sure why you are so offended by that...

NSYNC's Bye Bye Bye also made a cameo. It was in Deadpool And Wolverine opening as well as in X-men 2 when Logan is driving the car.
In X-men Apocalypse, Scott Summers (I think) leans forward in the car to turn on the radio and finds that song and says something about its good music. Wolverine turns it off and says “over my dead body.”This is why Deadpool dances to this song, over Wolverine’s dead body. The ultimate in trolling someone, leave it to Deadpool and RR for that matter! 😂
When we saw the movie the audience cheered loudly when Blade and Gambit appeared. Great popcorn flick overall.
Henry Cavill also does the fist move he does in Mission 'Impossible - Fallout' when his claws come out.

I loved the movie. My wish list for characters I wish they did a cameo for were a version of Wolverine played by Danny Devito who’s name was attached to the very first X-men movie, or a multiverse Ironman played by Tom Cruise.
Getting to see the FantastiCar was pretty rad.
The dude in the leather trench coat isn’t a Blade variant. It’s one of the sub-villains from Elektra’s solo film.
The "90s comic book version" of Wolverine is actually the Age Of Apocalypse wolverine.

Having Snipes work with Ryan again was funny. I'm glad to see that they could find a way to make it work. Having the movie be mostly Fox cameos was fun! Chris Evans was great to have back as Johnny with all the references to him as being Captain America earlier.
Gambit: I think I was born here. Made me laugh real hard. His gambit was great.

I'm 99% sure that in the Deadpool/Wolverine fight the Justice League Watchtower is one of the background pieces which considering they pulled off having a helicarrier as their final fight scene location in the first movie would certainly be on brand.
Seeing Blade is AMAZING ! Also I love Channing Tatum as Gambit ! The cameos were amazing .. we really need a 4th Blade , clearly he wasn’t affected by the “cure” in the 3rd movie .. I need to see Wesley Snipes on the big screen again ! .. Channing needs to get his Gambit movie , it’s a dream of his & I think he’d be awesome as the character ! Love this video ❤

I actually got it right…I noticed the texture of the costume and assumed that it was the Human Torch. I even mumbled it out loud before he revealed who he was.

I loved that during the Cavilerine cameo, he launched his claws exactly like he "reloaded his arms" in Mission Impossible
The audience. There were SO many cameos and fourth wall breaking that the audience became part of the movie. To the point that when phone went off in the audience, nobody cared. Whole theater laughed about it!
On a side note, would love to see a tiny little scene like this in a Deadpool movie. Phone goes off, sounds like its in the audience, someone says sorry, turning it off, but.. without missing a beat, Deadpool waggles his finger at the audience.
Also I could have sworn there was a scene that had like 2 frames of Scarlett Johansson, sitting at a desk.

The Captain America Winter Soldier reference to On your left was mentioned by Deadpool. The Hugh Jackman comic accurate looks through the Multiverse is Peter Sellers reference as he played multiple roles for example in Doctor Strangelove.

lots. An extended wolverine flashback,(which was apparently too violent for Disney) a fight scene with she hulk, dead pool at Disneyland, dead pool on the view. Lots of other stuff taking shots at Disney and its current state.

as someone who grew up loving the new xmen and going back to the old ones and the cartoons and used to be huge into speculating stuff i loved the references and cameos in this, my favorite had to have been gambit just because i remember hearing about it for so long but not until now did we really get it and yeah bad accent but his action was so cool

Everyone gushing about the cameos while I wish they did an old X-Men cameo.....if they could get Snipes or Evans back, they 100% could have gotten Halle Berry or someone similar. It would have been cool to have gotten both Charles actors in the movie back.
