Nice one! Interested to know, how much of that original set was real vs painted in?....you can see the augmentation on the big-wide down by Angelica's knees
@@artlist_ioit’s a thing of beauty!…but seriously, 00:15, look at the horizontal line through the knees and across the floor, separating the pattern into two different styles. PS: not trolling, just in case this comes across wrong 🤙🏼
@@weddfilms Oh no no, the set where Angelica is wasn't painted at all. It's actually a part of the Artlist office lol Fun fact: that shack is over 100 years old! The floors are original, and we can’t change them because they’re protected by architectural preservation laws.
Thanks James! The actual set was fully painted and designed the day before the shoot. The studio where you see Angelica is actually part of the Artlist office.
Just asking can you guys make a in-depth course on video editing fundamentals (not software) ? could be a good ideas as other platforms like envato doing content marketing through tuts+ that actually helps and getting a lot of traction, but they dont have any course/playlist on this topic particularly and have a lot of projects still going on, so if people at artlist can do it would be great... As said i can have the best camera, assets and software in the world but if i dont know how to use it, its just waste and i will create worst output... So if you guys can teach the curx the basic of video editing of why we cut there and what makes the video look engaging enough to watch till end, visual storytelling RUclips videos etc that will be really helpful, atleast for me who can't really afford to go to a film school and I think there are a lot of budding filmmakers/Content creators too who are in the same situation
The handheld plunge on the probe lens was insane.

Nice video! Im wondering how much it costs for a sound studio like this per day and how long did you rent to build your sets before filming?
Thanks James! The actual set was fully painted and designed the day before the shoot. The studio where you see Angelica is actually part of the Artlist office.

We're definitely down. We have the Artlist Academy, and all classes are still completely free! Take a look here: artlist.io/academy/getting-started/
They already have its called Artlist Academy. It's Free
Go Angelica woo
You're using the wrong term in this video. It's "Production Design", not "Set Design"
