I’ve been doing this same rebuild. Took Ligue 2 by storm, winning the league outright with three matches to play. Having some trouble figuring the tactical ideas for the first season up, though. Thinking about playing Dyche-ball after picking up a big target up top and a couple of Wingers with excellent crossing.

that meeting was hilarious lol, i just imagined everyone giving you a dead look while you were trying to giving inspiration, failing to regain their approval, and then everyone just akwardly walking off the room
Just imagine what the players who were hurt and offended by him saying that he thinks that they can get automatic promotion looked like haha
I did a save with ASSE last year, and remember some of the players I was looking down on at the beginning actually being better than I thought they would be, not world class but solid contributors. The other thing that happened was I had a fantastic youth intake my first year, ASSE has one of the best Youth setups in the world and the game, expect some quality there. Looking forward to whats nex!

What a time to be alive!
This save is gonna be great. St Etienne were my starting team in FM24 also! Got the promoted via playoffs in the first season - almost got them relegated in the second season (first in ligue 1) then had a massive overhaul at the end of season two which boosted us all the way into the europa league by finishing fifth in only our second season in the league! Third season started just aswell maintaining 2nd/3rd around December but I had to wave bye bye to the green of Etienne for the green of Sporting 😢
You should do a club from Romania one day...the league is not one of the biggest, but most of the clubs have potential
As a french fan, most of the prononciations for the clubs are okay-ish. But the names... Holy cow the player names 😂
st etienne were my fm 22 save, were incredibly fun had some crazy regens
Thomas the libero. i bought him 2nd ssn for my ligue 2 sochaux. 3 goals first 5 matches as a libero. His ppms/attributes combo is so good for that role. Hoping you'll get alot of fun out of that dude

Hi I am a new subscriber here. Your videos are actually great and inspirational. I am a top eleven player (manager) and I just don't know why I am losing from a low rating team. From your videos I learn that's all is about your creativity and your skill to observing the match form and tactic. Sorry for my bad English😅 but you still the best channel that I learned about tactics and managerial things. Anyway, my team formation is 41221 or 433 with DCM the same as you. Thx u anywayy👌👑

I do this save every year.
I built an excellent Saint Etienne side on FM 21.
I managed ASSE and won the CL after 5 seasons in FM23, but was never able to dethrone the PSG league dominance.
8:23: those are both French-speaking countries, so maybe your West Africa scout doesn't speak a foreign language (but surely he ought to be able to go to Morocco and Guinea-Conakry).
It would be amazing if the reason it's all Oceana EXCEPT New Zealand is because of the sinking of the Rainbow Warrior and the political fallout that followed it
