Beautiful maroon, and the ornament, looks like the greyhound on the greyhound buses? It has stuck in my head, that they always had the blue oval. So, the initial? 34 had the 40HP V8 and the B & C car had the 85HP V8? I remember they wrote Henry a letter of appreciation. Psychopathic killers are human too, after all.

I like how you appreciate the artful sculptured body lines that most car reviews tend to over look. I noticed on the steering wheel a wing like knob. Could that have been used for ignition spark advance with a cold engine? Also I looked at the fire wall and noticed no hose lines for a cab heater from the engines coolant. I guess you would not need it for being an open air roadster. I have to say that this particular car appears like it just rolled off the assembly factory floor. Such an outstanding review!

Sales of new Fords had significantly declined by 1934...because in 1929 about 2 million Ford Model As were manufactured. The major reasons for such a collapse were the Great Depression and Plymouth, whose annual sales increased consecutively until 1938. My grandparents were married in 1934 and then bought a new 1935 Plymouth.

Great job, Jay ‼What a gorgeous very rare car. 👏Man you would have to have a garage and I can't help but think these cars were more popular in a warmer climate without harsh weather conditions. Bonnie and Clyde - wow I recognize the photo but never knew it was a 1934 Ford V8. How do you find out these things? Keep up the great work. HNY 2023 💫with almost 500 views already today 👍🏼

Hey Jay, hit the jackpot again? The days when Ford could offer an upgrade of 2 rear lights. Now it couldn't be sold without a third light visible. I saw an old truck.1 light on the left lower, very tiny, and also been seeing a lot of old car crash pics. No crumple zones, but many bent and twisted panels. We forget so easily how distressing it was. Roosevelt eventually told the car companies to sort it out, too many dead and maimed people. But nothing happened till the mid 80s, realistically. The 34 Ford you have is really a great restoration, it is something I would love to drive or ride in. On a closed circuit?
Hah, I caught you out. You don't put ounces, in your weight description, after pounds. However, you placed .873 after the car's weight. Which is very light at 1115 KG 1000 KG is a ton, and the extra is a couple of young girls. The .873 percent under a KG is loose change practically.

What a gorgeous body style. Only 85 HP but 150lbs of torque. WOW that's a lot of torque. You don't often find a motor where the torque figure is twice the horsepower.
What is the top speed in this car with the V8?
The interior is tiny compared to todays cars. I'm 6' 3'' and currently 220lbs. I can't imagine trying to get myself and another full sized person in this car
